Tesco Express

Good opening hours, Mon to Sunday. Til 10pm I think (not 100% sure) Cash point outside. Parking. Disabled bays. Bike rack. Good range of grocery, chilled and frozen. Some fresh bakery, & fruit & veg. Alcohol & tobacco & lottery.

The store itself has good choice and is handy because of how close it is to where I live. But what I cannot stand is the security they have employed, he makes me feel like a criminal when I have not once stolen a single item from them, someone has actually gotten away with stealing because he has been too busy watching what I'm picking up and it made me not buy what I wanted to and I'm now sat here hungry with no food in because of how uncomfortable he made me feel. Every single time I enter the shop he watches what I do and on occasion has followed me to check what I'm doing when he couldn't see me from where he was stood. It's disgraceful! I would understand if I was behaving oddly but all I do is pick up a basket and try and do my shopping! If there was a specific complaints line I would address it formally, because actually it really does come to something when the security is that prejudiced against someone that other people get away with stealing right in front of them..

A modern Tesco Express, but with the majority of day to day items to fulfil most needs. Wolverhampton doesn't have a large Tesco since the closure of the Mander Centre one a few years back, so Express versions are very welcome, providing a bit of shopping variety in an area that is very much Co-operative territory.
Friendly, helpful staff with a community vibe. Parking on the front that is shared with The Claregate pub next door. This Tesco was built on a former section of pub car park.

Lovely staff, very helpful. A very busy shop but sells everything a convenience store should and a few extras including a Hermes/ Evri (🙄) label printer/ parcel shop. Prices in the store are a little dearer than the large stores, but I suppose we expect that now in the c stores.

Items are dearer than the large store in wolverhampton, but the same quality. The stock is way reduced on the larger store. The shop seems to be overcrowded with Items for sale.

Great local store. Able to find mostly everything i need in the middle of the week (if groceries insufficient over the weekend at Sainsbury’s!)

Apart from two males that work at this store, the rest of the staff are rude and horrible. Staff refuse to move trolleys out of your way and look at you as if you are a burdon to them. The manager really needs to work on their staffs attitude as they make it uncomfortable for you to do your shopping. She also needs to improve on her attitude aswell, if she and her staff are not happy with their job then find another one!

A great store but let down by rude and unprofessional staff. They all ignore queing customers and when they do serve you its as if you are inconveniencing them. Apart from the two gentelemen who are nice and helpful, the rest need a lesson in mannors and proper training!
