Lidl

A great German food retailer , known for its no nonsense approach to food selling .
Nothing fancy , no frills .
Just if you like this kind of shop a decent lower cost way of shopping.
Their gherkins , and other food stuffs are excellent .
They have in my opinion an excellent Chilean merlot £4.98 .
One of my favourite wines .
If you haven't visited lidls before , give them a whirl.

After a long 12 hour shift on the hottest day of the year so far, i went to get dinner and didn’t realise I had left my purse at home, the lovely check out lady called Jo so kindly paid for my dinner and beer, she really made my day, I am so grateful for her kindness and generosity! Hope to pay her back one day! Big love to jo!

Supermarket some cheap goods usually good but sometimes the quality of its produce let's it down. Has an u tidy ambience

Nice fairly new store which is larger than the usual size store. Good size bakery and more stocks and a greater selection of products than normal. Big central areas for Lidls offers.

Great supermarket reasonably priced food only down side is there isn't any place to put your shopping once it's being scanned through it has to go straight in the bag instead so very poorly designed in this respect as when staff are proving items fast you have to be quick with

Well stocked. Good service at the checkout. )I chose a self service till). But the supervisor was very quick to authorise my beer.

Shelves are so empty. Shopped at lidl for years but never again. Kept trying but this time 5pm on a Saturday 5 November and over half the items we wanted were unavailable. Tried Asda a couple of times and stock levels so much better and we finished our shop there. Bought more in Asda than the empty shelved lidl. Prices were very similar but Asda meal deals with a free film is amazing value. Given up on lidl now. You can tell there is something wrong when they keep changing there lidl plus scheme!

Really good shop. Seemed to have everything.
