This Asda used to be the best. It was open 24 hours, was clean, well stocked and had friendly staff. But it all seemed to go downhill throughout the pandemic and hasn't recovered. Trolleys in parking spaces, rats in the car park over by the bushy section, beggars stationed at the entrance (I give to the homeless regularly but sometimes they hound you both when you're going in and coming out), terrible new opening times - this is wolverhampton...after 10/11ish nothing is open. The city needs at least one late night supermarket for people who work late, prefer off peak shopping, or need supplies in an emergency. Empty shelves, some rude staff, crates and pallets blocking isles that you have to drag out of the way to get past, tardiness with opening times, faulty card readers at the petrol station, no foam in the car wash. I don't wanna go over the top...it's just an ASDA...but it's been a frustrating place to shop at recently.

Absolutely disgusted. Was attacked by a member of staff physically manhandled and verbally assaulted by them and ASDA have made me feel like I want to quit and now I have and the other person gets away without getting a disciplinary action and would not give me a transfer away from them as my mental health was affected by why being manhandled and targeted for the first 3 weeks of me being there

[edit] Customer sevice been able to sort out the below issue. Waiting for refund which I should receive within 5 days.[Edit]

I made online order with express delivery from them. When I unpacked my shoping from bags I realized that about half of my order is missing. I made a refund request via app. They answered to me its sorry to hear that and they rejected my refund request for missing items. I have no products and no money now. Thiefs! I wrote to customer service about that. Waiting for asswer now. If you dont deliver the missing items or refund me my money you will be reported to Trading Standards and court action will be taken agains you!

Opening times use to be 6am! Just to love coming at that time! After trying to see your opening times stating you open at 8am… thinking that can’t be possible… seeing customers state you open at 7am it’s abit confusing. Just confirm your opening hours on the website and feed back to your head office 6am opening time was way better !

So sad to hear this.. got home from work to find out my partner shopped at this store today. He found a handbag full of contents, phone, purse ect, he went back into store and handed the bag into customer services. The girl took the handbag, left my partner standing there and proceeded to scroll through the phone. No Thankyou, didn't take his name, nothing. So he walked off in discuss. He then phoned Customer Service when he returned home., to make sure they knew he handed the bag in and was disappointed with the lack of response from the girl behind the desk. The reply was is there anything else I can help you with. Well Asda I think you need to train your staff that claim to be Customer Services!!!
Hope the lady got her bag back and Well Done Terry Green for being so honest!

I like this hypermarket, it raises similar to Walmart in the states, the prices are lower than the average. The quality of their products are reliable.
There is a free parking in front, you can order ahead and pick, besides you can order to be delivered.

They accept cash and credit, beside you pay by self-service.

I don't go in Asda as often as I used to - I shop in Tesco and Sainsbury's more now as I have store cards but I had a terrible experience today which I wasn't in the mood for! I bought a bottle of red wine as a Christmas gift for my dad's friend and needed approval and a miserable older man with white hair and glasses in a yellow jacket just tossed my small trolley out the way without a hello, I hadn't purchased many items and I said 'Don't just push my trolley like that, it's very rude!' he just went off on one and argued back without saying SORRY, it's true when people say the staff need customer care skills but I usually get good service here and hardly have a problem! I spoke to Dawn on customer service who is very sweet and a lovely manager came over and I complained how the man treated me and she said she'd speak to his line manager! I was very pleased with the outcome and professionalism of the manager but that old man was not proactive at all, he ought to retire there is no need to argue with decent customers however you're feeling don't do the job I need a job and can't get one and would never treat anybody in this way!!😐
