Tesco Express

Can’t argue with the prices. Sainsbury’s next door was charging £23.50 for a bottle of Captain Morgan rum that was £16 in Tesco (Don’t judge me... It’s for the Christmas cake!). Four Stars (only minus 1 because they need to up their pastry game. Tough croissant competition with neighbours like Sainsbury’s [excellent pastries] and M&S just across the road).

I visited this store twice and both times the same thing. I am used to buying my breakfast from tesco every morning. Meal deal it is. The Summertown Tesco express though is charging every item separately. So instead of 3£ for the meal deal ended up paying the full price for it. If you buying breakfast better visit another tesco express.

Served by a very rude young man. Hands in pockets, on his phone whilst serving us and practically threw the filters at us. When we requested tobacco he huffed at us and rolled his eyes as he turned around. After scanning my club card, he threw the hand scanner on the till. My friends and I were shocked at the rude experience. My friend said 'you don't have to throw things' and he gawked with his hands still in his pockets 'wha?'. No need for such poor service. I would recommend one of the many other stores on the road to avoid this rudeness.

Also, there was no orange juice with bits.

Great supermarket. Helpful people. Opens early. Coffee machine inside 🤩

Excellent customer service by duty manager at 1700 on 2nd September. Resolved my problem as I had left behind an item.

Jason at summer town Tesco was getting angry, overly aggressive and being a nonce for the second time I was there. He has said he loves me and has blown kisses at me and also he buys 14 year old girls food. He also kicked me out for something I didn’t do

Normally quite good with good staff. Was a bit annoyed when the lady behind the till thought it was her duty to comment on my purchase of cigarettes. I realise smoking isn’t healthy but I didn’t realise that staff were allowed to comment on customers purchases.

Completely useless, they dont even bother to stock the shelves.
