A two level Marks and Spencer in the middle of Wolverhampton shopping precinct.
The food hall offers some delicious grub with a good selection of flowers, magazines, papers etc.
The clothing sections all depend on your taste and style but for me the mens formal wear is excellent value and quality.
Apart from the hordes of the blue rinse brigade at peak times, the cafe is pretty good too with excellent customer service.

Abbey served me on the till. She was genuinely apologetic for my wait. Served with great service and friendly. Great experience.

- negative part is there is only 2 changing rooms in the upper section for trying on things such as bras which meant we waited for over 20 minutes to try on.

Attitude is everything!
I popped in today around 3.30pm to buy a quick meal for tea this evening… I bought pasta and salad… spinach, tomatoes etc.
As I finished I noticed an employee reducing some salad items - she had a stack of beetroot. I politely asked her if she was reducing the beetroot and her response was you’ll have to wait? I stood aside for a quite some time whilst she proceeded to put a reduced sticker on all (20) packs of beetroot. Not one exchange with me or look me in the eye.
Once she had finished - she then proceeded to add the bar codes to all packs. I stood next to her patiently waiting. When she had completed her task.. she then stated ‘you can take one now’ and walked off.
What a rude employee you have. I was tempted to call the manager. A very unpleasant experience that could have been handled so differently by a member of staff who values their customers. Needless to say I shall be shopping elsewhere in future.

M & S still offer the service of measuring and advice for getting a new bra, as I needed help having lost weight! The 2 ladies who assisted me were very professional and friendly! So nice to find in these days!

I took my mum shopping to buy a winter coat and some underwear. My mum is I a wheelchair so these tasks are always well thought out. We were happy that the front entrance was wheelchair friendly and doors to suit.
But unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for the shop floor. The rails were so close together that it wasn’t accessible for the wheelchair to manoeuvre in and out of them. My mum had to stay on the outskirts and I had to look to see if there was anything suitable and take it to her.
Unfortunately the selection was not to my mums liking so we then moved on to finding underwear. It took us 10 minutes of walking around the outskirts of the store to find the lift. Signs were non existent.
When we got to the underwear department we found what we were looking for, but not in my mums size. I asked the lady at the counter and she said we need to order the items online 😳
because they don’t stock size 24. Now I appreciate that they can’t stock every size to fit everyone but surely they have a system where they can order the item to come to the store.
So we then went to see if we could purchase a winter weight sweatshirt or warm jumper. We couldn’t find any so asked an assistant for guidance. She told us that they were awaiting winter stock. This was Mid October 😧
So Marks and Spencer Wolverhampton. You missed out on a hefty sale there.

Visited M&S Wolverhampton today, for Christmas presents, came away after buying what I wanted. Staff are very helpful and friendly. My only concern is that when later going back to the cafe yet again there was a long queue. It seems not enough staff are working in the cafe. Most times you have one person on the tills who has to take order and payment and make the drinks. Which makes for a very long time in the queue.

Absolute shocker, dishwasher still not repaired, disgrace.
Therefore 2 teas served in paper cups, shoddy, one sandwich also put the total at £9:50, you won't be catching me again.
And don't start my partner on the state of the ladies toilets.
All I all in poor show for a great British institution.
