M&S Simply Food

me and my friends went in to m&s today. we were a group of teens, about 6 of us, and i get it we looked weird but we even spoke deliberately quiet as we knew we were going to be judged, but we honestly just wanted to get a drink and percy pigs. However as soon as we stepped food into the store, a woman who didn't even work there shouted at us to get out, we even asked if she was judging and she said yes.No one did nothing.We didn’t even argue and just walked out like she asked. 3 of our friends walked back in to get a drink, and was continually stared down the whole time.i get it, we were a group of teenagers, but the way we did absolutely nothing and were explicitly judged and discriminated against was awful.Absolutely awful experience.

doesn’t even deserve one. me and a couple friends walked into m and s today and as soon as we entered an old woman told us to leave , and when we asked why, not giving us an answer. bear in mind as we entered the shop we were speaking quietly and we did this because we knew we would be judged. which was exactly what happened. the woman also didn’t work there and we saw her go to her car. the workers did nothing to intervene. so we left. confused. i get us being a group of teens but we had done nothing. a few of us went in again to buy a drink which was our original plan. i’m really not happy that the workers didn’t do anything and continued to stare us down when we went back in.

Prefer this one to their new bigger one down the road.

Worth a look, even if all you fancy is something reduced in price to try as a snack.

Beer section has improved recently.

Stopped off to purchase the Valentines £20 dine in for 2 offer and other essentials. Good stock of the offer choices. Slight wait of 5 minutes to enter store. Easy to move around and a quick check out experience, very friendly staff member on the checkout. Car park was quite busy and queued to enter / exit.

A great quality store with fresh delicious food.
Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy. Trolleys are sanitised and current measures in place. Car park is free and spacious. You pay for quality food and it’s totally worth it zee

Previously a regular customer of this smaller food hall. But today i was approached whilst shopping by the manager Russell and two other staff who falsely accused me of attempting to steal in front of other customers and staff members. And when he was found to be incorrect didn't try and apologise and proceeded to watch me shopping. I experienced great prejudice from the staff here today without reason and it has made me feel awful. I will follow this up with a formal complaint.
