Iceland Supermarket Ilkeston

I love Iceland, easy access to site as it is at the retail park! Plenty of parking but I walk there. It offers great prices compared to some big supermarkets. Its quite a small store so doesn't have loads of products in, but it does have a good variety and is great value for money.

Staff need training in customer service. The lady on the checkout mumbled something that sounded like ‘do you have a discount card?’, when I said I haven’t, she abruptly responded with ‘I never asked you that’. Again she mumbled something, I asked her to repeat herself, and she asked ‘how old are you?’. She said she asks every customer, but she never asked the customer before me. I heard her talking to a colleague about me as I was leaving the store which I found extremely rude.

Always plenty of bargains in both the freezer sections, refrigerators and dry goods. Very clean store and staff are always helpful. Good selection of parking spaces

This is a handy and reliable so for groceries and frozen foods. Iceland is just about the only supermarket chain that consistently stocks Skol lager, which is why I've started shopping here.
