We love visited Tesco when we in london. Mainly the chocolate cheap . Like £1 for big bar of choc and during easter there are many promotions too. I like the strawberry fresh and cost at £1 if you are lucky . Yes we just love Tesco there

Shelves are rarely adequately stocked and fridges always broken, plus the self checkouts are very frustrating with a tiny place to stack items up - if you do a slightly larger shop you'd need to go to the manned tills (rarely manned) to avoid an expensive jenga game

Really lovely place to shop with every product that you could want. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful and the atmosphere is positive and welcoming. The security guard has been quite rude on occasion but I won't let that reflect on the store as a whole. All in all, I've been very happy shopping here.

Very bad service on checkouts. This store used to be so good before they renovated it. Wouldn't accept contactless payment and the staff were helping others instead. I don't blame them though because it was so damn busy. Eventually I gave up and decided not to buy the item.

This used to be quite a good Tesco, but after the refurb I think the range of items has shrunk, there are fewer members of staff around, only one human checkout open at a time, and CCTV cameras basically everywhere with very intrusive TV screens making you feel like a thief at all times. I'm not convinced that the prices are cheaper than the neighbouring tiny Sainsbury's. If anything it's not a nice shopping experience and just clinical an impersonal.

Most of the time the shelves are empty. Vegetables and fruits are always even more lacking

Self checkout are a mess since you cannot see when one is available

A fire hazard as exits are blocked in the middle with stands or publicity...

Never enough staff on checkouts.
The self serive checkouts are so overwhelming especially for the local elderly who need the human interaction, family's with children and those with physical and mental disabilities.
OPEN THE OTHER CHECKOUTS
OPEN MORE CHECK OUT WHEN IT GETS BUSY!
Shop floor is looking good 👍

Fun store in heart of lively Cowley neighbourhood. Highlight of each visit is the stacking endgame, where you’re challenged to construct a vertical tower of all your groceries. Really nice to incorporate this playful element in shoppers’ experience, ensuring that everyone takes their time in the store and doesn’t purchase more than they manage to stack on a 20 cm x 15 cm base.
Have to a subtract 1 star for rotten and slimy veggies - though on a good day they are out of stock.
