Tesco Superstore

Very popular little store. You can be in and out quickly. I'd suggest that they remove the gender signs from the toilet doors though as they're unnecessary with just one cubicle for each.

Of the three main supermarkets in Selby this is my favourite. Not normally too busy and the staff are all really friendly and polite. I wish they had a proper fish counter though.

Update: three years later this is still my favourite local supermarket and it is all down to their checkout staff. What a friendly group of people.

Sick of my app not working and going back to sign in. Clubcard failed a number of times. You try and take advantage of the deals but doesn’t work. Never have this problem with Waitrose or sparks card. Sorry Tesco will try and avoid you now rubbish Clubcard service

This is my favourite place for shopping. The staff are very friendly and polite. The aisles are well organized and clean. I can find most of the things I need here.

Staff was really helpful and polite when I couldn’t find something, also had a little chat with Jackie at the self check out and she was so lovely!! Actually made my day!!

We use Tescos all the time in Selby but was shocked recently to find that they now have basket and trolley payment areas but all are card only!!! Card and cash would be OK just like everywhere else but its shocking for those who like to use cash. We have not been back since and will not return and I know many others have said the same. Will use my vouchers and then cancel the club card, sad because this is the only reason we used the Tescos fuel station which we have also sacked. Shame but Morrisons is good too.

The staff is truly helpful, happy and very friendly. Love the quality of the food too
