Ilford Food Centre

Some fresh produce, lots past their best due to bulk buying. Rude customer service from the young women, constantly chatting whilst supposedly “serving”.
Lower my expectations or find alternative local shop. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I love this store because I always find everything very fresh, the prices are fair and sometimes I have even managed to get Mexican ingredients.

Although I have another nearby Turkish shop, my husband and I prefer to make our purchases in this store because of the good attitude the staff have & the diversity of products.

The quality is very good.

The attention of most of the assistants is always kind & with a lot of respect.

Especially in the butcher section, the nice and smiling man, very respectful and polite, and in the section to pay, especially a very short lady and a newly hired man, as well as a younger man, the rest of the staff very attentive too .
The four of them are really nice with everybody always.

And none of the staff is racist, I appreciate that very much and infinitely.

I've been a weekly shopper at Ilford Food Centre for over 10 years. Love the variety of products, fresh fruits and veg, best lamb chopps you can find! The staff are friendly and attentive, always treated with a great level of care specially towards my elderly mother from Radhika and the other girls at the tills. Love this place!

One stop to buy Groceries and fresh produce at reasonable prices

This is one of the best places to get Ginger even though sometimes it looks a bit large. It's relatively fresh. I think they've only let me down once or twice so that's why they get 4 stars instead of 5 but they're very good at what they do. Also the olive oil is very good, it's a reasonable price even in comparison to Aldi or Lidl this is why you have to shop around in your local neighbourhoods to get the bargains or you will overspend in just one place.

I'm regular customer in this store more then 5 years .. meat chef and customer service guys all are good friendly...but bakery chef one of the worst staff dirty chef very rude disgusting chef . I ask him when you making next bread.. he said to me go other shop take bread after he touch his nose few time and he touch to all bread and he said look no good bread . Again touching his nose .. he can't speak good English very rude . Not for family shopping anymore this shop... I don't recommend anyone to buy bread you will get sick . I inform the council today ... To check the food hygienics for bakery chefs ..... Unprofessional baker disgusting

Staff at the back are constantly sneezing and wiping noses then handling products.
Most staff here are very rude. As a customer I feel like they are doing the favour by taking money off my hand and letting me have their products (which they sold to me). Produce is always of poor quality.
