Huge Extra Superstore in the heart of the town with a huge car park which has a 3 hour limit on it for customers. This store will undergo various refits between July and September this year as it is getting tired and needs updating. There are wide aisles with a large non food section as you enter, lots of self service tills with about 6 or so manned tills. The range is typically Tesco, the staff were friendly, there was a manned mobile phone shop as well! There are four Pod point 7kw electric vehicle chargers just outside the store in their own marked dedicated parking bays, best of all.. they are free to use!

This place is terrible. The staff are the only saving grace as they are always so damn friendly and helpful, but the store itself is just a nightmare. They reshuffle everything way too often. Sometimes it feels like it's almost on a daily basis. When you go in, you often head to where you know something is only to find it's changed to the other side of the of the shop. They even reshuffle the freezer shelves. They frequently leave price labels in awkward spots so it looks like something is cheaper only to find it's actually two pounds more. Sometimes the real label has been hidden under others entirely. I have no doubt this is intentional because it's been happening endlessly for the thirteen years I've lived here.
The price clubcard savings are just insulting as well. Sometimes you get something for quite a bit off, but most of the time you barely get anything. You'll spend £35 to find you've saved 12p. So generous. And as for the reduced shelf, those are the worst. You'll look at a £5 pizza and find it's nearly out of date, like the next day or so and they've taken 23p off.
Where as the Tesco in the next town over in Taunton frequently reduce their goods by a very good amount.
The place over charges, doesn't reduce its good right, drives you crazy with the constant shelf shuffles and while the staff are great, it seems the management never listen to customer feedback.
Seriously, head to Lidl just next door or even Morrisons which you can find in Tiverton as well.

A delivery driver demolished part of my wall I spoke to the duty manager (Graham) by telephone to report this and he has taken no action at all although he promised to send me a claim form it is absolutely impossible to get hold of anyone at the Tiverton branch of Tesco by telephone a real nightmare if anyone knows Tesco’s insurers details I would be very keen to have them

Really awful now! Self service tills causing massive queues! Such a pity as the team are really friendly and helpful. I won't be going in again. I could not believe the last time I went in and straight back out again! People by the doors due to queues!

Generally a decent supermarket but their recent covert petrol and diesel pricing strategy has been exploitative. 15p overpriced compared with the independent sector AND signage deliberately switched off.

Tiverton Tesco During my visit to the store today,I was approached by a lovely colleague named Linda at the checkouts. Her attention to detail was impeccable I received Exceptional Customer Service and went away really happy. This is a big store that has everything you need somewhere in the shop, your problem will be choosing what you want as there is a lot of choice.
The carpark is large and well laid out, the access to the fuel station needs you to be aware of the road layout as the exit from the carpark puts straight on to a roundabout with the fuel station turn being the 2nd exit almost immediate.
