Iceland Supermarket Maesteg

A 82 year old lady was denied a delivery because the last slot was fIlled just as she was waiting to be checked out. The lady was told to take her shopping home by taxi which her reply was I can't do that because I get a delivery so my shopping is brought up to my house my path from gate to front door is very long and if I get taxi I'd have to do 3 trips up and down path because not all taxi drivers will help. The staff behind till then said to the lady you will have to put the good back. Who in they right mind would do this to a 82 year old woman with a walking aid. I told the lady get her shopping I'll leave my mam and daughter with our shopping at shop while I take her home with hers. I'm so disappointed the delivery driver could have put her 4-5 bags on the floor by the passenger seat for goodness sake, you don't leave a 82 year old with out milk and essential. And she lived in different direction to me I don't know the lady at all, the poor dub had to jump in the car a stranger. I'm so disappointed with iceland

The Iceland in Maesteg is very popular to the local community the staff are excellent with customers and are always on hand to help. The down side is the shop should be bigger perhaps an extension could help

What more can I say about my local Iceland?
The shelves & freezers are always well stocked & if you can't find what product you want, then they are always helpful & polite. In fact all the staff are all well presented, clean, polite & professional. I have also had the need, on occasion, used their delivery service & again the delivery was made within the requested 2 hour time slot. The drivers have always been polite & very helpful. They carried my shopping to my outbuilding where I have my main chest freezer.
That's why this mum goes to Iceland.

Got everything you need including products from Slimming World. Good offers. Wide aisles.

easy access with parking. prices are pretty decent other good shops close by. recycling bins in nearby carpark/Wilkco. honestly if you can buy a frozen 10" pizza for under £1 (most toppings available) let me know

Not just cheap as chips anymore, there's some real choice and good quality bargains to be had if you've 10 mins to browse. This is even more important, with the recent price inflation. Go for it!

I bought a frozen Turkey from there xmas week went to cook it xmas eve and it was absolutely stinking gone off I went back there and told the manager and he was so arrogant not even an apology I hope head office sees this review because he is not fit to run a dig kennel absolutely pig of a man

Great selection of food not too busy either fab experience lovely staff.
