Most of the staff are very helpful and the store is kept exceedingly clean. The staff on the checkout counters are smiling and couldn't do enough to help, hell, i even seen staff skipping with delight at work. The staff are so friendly at this store that I could set up a tent inside the store and move in just to confabulate, clown around and be facetious towards one another.

I have just come back from the cafe in Marks and was appalled at the state of the cafe. There was no one there clearing tables and the result was tables stacked with dirty crockery I counted 5 tables like this. There was tissues lying on the floor. The coffee machines took ages with a 20 minute wait and only two youngsters trying their best. I won't be using it again. Goodness knows what lunch time will be like.Very disappointed.

M&S Cafe.
My daughter loves the brownies.
Flat White was great.
However, the menus were limited due to lack of staff.

We have visited this den of iniquity reasonably regularly when we’re out in Hwlffordd. The car park outside always seems to be packed, even during a week day out of season. All the people...where do they all come from?

Consumers flock from miles around to sample the famous fish finger sandwich at Marks & Spencer. Or maybe it is to sample other food stuffs, but they always end up with fish finger sandwiches as it’s the only thing that’s ever available.

Alas the times I have attempted to order a tuna and mayo jacket potato only to be told that there’s no potatoes, or no tuna... What kind of self respecting food outlet allows themselves to run out of tuna? Or potatoes for that matter? Do they only stock one of every meal per day?

I’m so sick of fish finger sandwiches that this week I ‘upgraded’ to full fish and chips for the kingly sum of 8 million squids. I was impressed when the meal arrived mere minutes after sitting down at the table, but such positivity inevitably disappears quickly at Marks, and this was definitely the case in this particular scenario, as I quickly realised the chips were still pretty much raw.

I contemplated complaining about this sorry state of affairs, but I have experienced so many ludicrously comedic visits to the Marks cafe of late that they have beaten all resistance out of me. Besides, I didn’t want them remembering me as the person who complained about their undercooked chips, otherwise next time I order they’ll probably take a dump in my fish finger sandwich.

Today I went to M&S for my annual treat. I had vouchers and birthday money and a morning free of any responsibility. What more can I say :0)
First up, clothes shopping. Fabulous range of lingerie instore, as well as a cracking range of autumnal clothing for children, men and women. Not that I was looking for anyone but myself today, but I like to look at what else is on offer.
Clothing done, then it was off to the cafe for coffee and cake..
Very nice coffee, delicious cake and the cafe was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Back downstairs afterwards for the food treats. This was definitely my favourite part of today ♥️
A meal deal, some chocolate, a birthday cake of course and a few other bits and pieces to make my birthday that bit more special, especially as I'm going to be sharing my goodies with friends and family.
And.... I was done. A morning had passed by so quickly and very enjoyably.
The staff in store are really good in this branch, they have a 'nothing is too much trouble for them attitude', they're genuinely friendly and helpful, especially today as I was a bit indecisive over an item, (thank you for helping make a decision)
The store is well lit, well stocked and always seems to have a warm welcome feel to it which is rare in shops these days. I'm not an old lady shopper, not that theres anything wrong with being old, (i can't wait to grow old disgracefully 😊), but us young ones dont always give shops like m&s a fair go so that's why I shared my experience .
Thanks Mark's and sparks, I had a great morning and left with a huge smile on my face :0)

The cafe in this place is a joke. The menu is right above the cashiers head and the writing is so small that you can’t read it if your in a queue so you don’t have time to look at it before hand. My husband and I had the poached egg bacon beans and a slice of toast. It was a joke, two soft boiled egg, lovely. Placed on top of the butter pats which had melted all out of the package. The toast was vile it was so hard that you need a chainsaw to cut it and three half slices of bacon, small pot of beans and a cup of tea and for two of us they had the cheek to charge £16.99 never again.

Always love a good M&S and this has a good food hall. Café not bad, but suffers from uncleared tables due to it's popularity, but it's the same story everywhere. Staff helpful and friendly, good selection of other M&S staples such as underwear, pjs and clothes. Love how m&s makes everything really Christmassy.
