M&S Simply Food

Good choice for a fairly small shop but a little bit pricey. Excellent quality though.

Another superb example of a stunning M&S Food store - great selection of foods, breads and snacks at the typical quality that you would expect. The store is well presented and laid out and has always been clean when I have entered. You can find that it is busy and you have to wait and the critic might say they could put on more people at the till but I think that’s what you can say about many places.

Lovely M&S store, always clean, tidy and well stocked. Excellent range of fresh fruit and vegetables, and the staff are nice too. My favourite lady on the checkout is Sheila, she is always so polite and friendly.

They have now installed a bank of self service tills in place of the attended tills. Carnage. Will not be shopping there so often from now on. Can't believe there was a signifant number of M&S customers asking for self-service tills.

Great choice of food and drinks. The fresh bread is absolutely beautiful.
The shop is very expensive for a lot of items and only one till on the rest are self service.

I have been using this store for many years and class myself as a very good customer but today whilst trying to get cashbook after my purchase the lady on the till appeared not to know how to do this. She called another lady whom I have had contact with before who I find to be rude and unhelpful . She was very rude and loud to me at the checkout in front of other customers. It was not my fault that the lady on the till needed guidance on how to give casback. This other lady accused me of throwing a purchase to her which was untrue.
I will not be using this store again. Her attitude needs addressing. I very rarely give feedback but I feel very unhappy with the way I have been treated. It was totally uncalled for.

Good quality food products, displayed in temperatures to keep them fresh. The staff take care and pride providing a top quality service. The produce is very well maintained and excellent quality.
