Sainsbury's

Has everything you could possibly want. Great variety in the free from section too which is always limited everywhere. Is a bit more expensive but everythings fresh and lasts and has organic things. Also has a home section and clothing section for all ages. I myself have found a few hidden gems there that I love you, also great for small gifts.

Find it more expensive than other supermarkets tho very helpful staff took the time to walk me through the smart app. Tho eggs should have been £1.77 with smart app and necter but got charged £2.05 not sure what's going on there. Not sure if I should have scanned necter but as its linked to smart shop thought I didn't have too.

Would be 5* if they actually carried a plentiful and constant stock of their large sacks of dog food! Fed up with it being mostly always out of stock. It upsets my dogs tummy having to give different feeds instead of giving him the only food I've found that his gut tolerates.

As always well stocked up but if your regular shop is not sainsburies and you don't know the aisle lay out, you feel lost. Looking for items like headless chicken. The big car park and petrol station with their competitive petrol prices always a bonus

Great store in direct comparison to our local at Pontypridd. Lots of choice, well stocked and layout easy to navigate. Only downsides were the Christmas music which seemed a little loud (Julie isn’t a fan of loud things) and SmartShop on the phone didn’t work (poor mobile signal). Upside of SmartShop not working was the delightful Bernard on the checkout who was chatting merrily to all the ladies. (Not so chatty with me but then I’m probably not his type) He efficiently scanned the items whilst keeping Julie chatting taking time to greet other regular customers. It was worth the visit for him alone.

Huge range of things on sale (clothing, household, pharmacy, hardware, and argos in shop). Some part of the shop can feel a little crowded due to smaller aisles.

Despite being December 23rd and being full of customers - there were plenty of checkouts open and we were out in no time.

The car park can really be crowded to get in and out when busy.

Busy but always cashiers on the checkouts and self service so queues go down quickly. Good selection of home and clothing aswell as food with plenty of parking.

Great Sainsburys, however not the best range of stock and biggest car park. These are minor points though. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after a local mid size Sainsburys.
