Iyo Sushi

For first week... v good

Beautifully presented for takeawaY standards. The seaweed tasted delicious, yet the lime coated my pure marbled salmon shashimi and gave it a cerviche taste.

Chicken karaage was ok

Takoyaki ok... but finally some actual bonito, no one actually gives the bonito :)

Pad thai resembled a bolgogi in style but very nice still!

This was the worst sushi I have had in my life. The fish was so disgusting my girlfriend has to spit it. They are clearly cutting corners on fish quality. Furthermore, the rice was something like hard pressed basmati rice. It was like chewing a massive ball of rubber. I left a piece fully submerged in the soya sauce for 2-3 minutes and still the soy hadn't soaked even half of the piece! A terrible experience and extremely overpriced. But I have to give it to them, it takes guts to charge this much for this bad food. I had a look at the reviews and almost all of the 5 star reviews are clearly fake.

I ordered via Deliveroo, and was given the wrong items completely. They don't answer the phone so had to go through Deliveroo to sort out. They promptly requested a redelivery yes after 20 minutes that order was cancelled without reason. In the end I'm left with food they delivered that I ordered and can not eat, facing customer service that does not exist. Very disappointed as I had ordered previously and all was fine. They did provide me with a bao bun that didnt have the ingredients I wanted, however after seeing that the bun is just a lazy burger bun and not authentic Bao, I think I dodged a bullet. Never ordering again. Beware.

I order many times with them. They have been always in time, the food always hot and fresh.
The sushi was always great and their miso ramen noodles soup it's the best in wakthamstow!

The quality of the food was terrible. There was no taste. I spent almost £ 15 for 4 unfortunate spring rolls and a pot of tasteless noodles. I was expecting to eat real Chinese chicken noodles but ended up with noodles that can be found for £ 1.50 in the supermarket and cook in 3min. The chicken was dry and not spicy. If I could rate them 0 stars, then i would have. To avoid!

Our food did not look fresh, we hope our sushi was at least prepared today. Nothing tasted like much. I will definitely not be ordering from here again.

Order from iyo on several occasions, its the first time I I’m disappointed with the quality of their food. I order the seafood Ramen, it’s definitely more of a mussel Ramen. Customer service is also not client focus. It’s a shame!
