Merstham Chippy

Been frequenting here a fair bit lately. Place is clean and staff very friendly , food is fresh cooked and excellent. Needed to ask for grease proof paper to be placed in cartons as chips were sticking to it but other than that all in all I can recommend this place. 100% better than South Mersthams other place which is shoddy and the food awful sorry to say but thats the truth.

This is simply the best fish and chip shop I have ever experienced. I have ordered there 4 times now and frankly feel like fish and chips again just writing this review! It's way ahead of anything I've ever had, including some big brand names up north. Perfect fish, fresh, great chips and really good prices. CASH only but don't let that put you off. Truly excellent!!

This is a fantastic chippy. Can't recommend it highly enough. Lovely cod and chips. Staff really friendly.

We ordered from here at 6.30pm, and were told our food would be 35 minutes. After 50 mins we rang them and were told they were busy and the food would be with us within 20 mins. After 30 mins we tried to ring again and had no answer (several times). It was meant to be an end of term treat for the kids, in the end we got happy meals for the kids because it was so late. The food turned up at 9.30pm with some free drinks to compensate, which we didn't even want. We will never use this place again!

Have been using this chippy for a while now, don't know why I keep going back! Chips are rarely fresh. Fish was ok but chips tasted refried and stale. I like FRESHLY cooked chips pls! I will give u one more try, then I Will go back to Leo's I South Merstham

Chips taste just like the ones you get at the seaside. Staff are friendly, he gives my dog a treat when she’s with me.
