High Street Chippy

Truely dreadful. The chips were not cooked; soggy, raw inside and dripping with horrid oil. The fish was unspeakable with so much oil pouring off it soaked right through the box. The oil was dirty, old and rancid. Shockingly bad and actually unhealthy. Doesn't even deserve one star and expensive too.

Great service, just had a burger and chips was far by the best I have had in a long time will definitely be coming back here. The burger was absolutely amazing

Great little chip shop. I always visit here when Im in town. The chips are perfectly cooked and the fish is cooked to order so nice and fresh with crispy batter. Staff are nice too.

Orders a fish and chips £9.50!!! And well very thin bit of cod 3rd of it was cod rest chewy batter!! Chips was like they been re cooked disgusting I ordered a gourmet meal and well I got a cheese burger meat dry and not pleasant to eat!! Best bit about order was my drink! Won't order again

Very disappointed! I think they refried the chips and fish from the night before. I ordered 2 fish & chips yesterday early evening. Some of the chips were great but others were so hard and dry that one would break the tooth eating that. One fish was fine but the other was fried far too much, brown and dry, which makes me think they gave me a some fresh stuff and some that had been there for a while, refried and served in the middle of it all thinking I wouldn’t notice the difference. I did. Pity! Won’t be going there again.

Epic mix meat selection box, food was hot and value for money was great!

Just had cod & chips from here, they were lovely, beautiful white fish with crispy batter and good tasty chips.
