Mexican Wave

Was ok but not as good as Mission Burrito IMO. If you want to improve take a look how they do things.

Good burrito etc but bit over kill on the price and a little too much choice and ott.

I eat Mission Burrito most weeks and came here when on holiday in Wales.

Will pop back sometime and see how things are going. Service was fine just not up to the same level as my local burrito shop.

Cold glasses was a nice touch and plenty of food in the burrito 🌯 🙂

The food is great! The only thing that I didn't like about this place was the prices. They are one of the only places in the UK to serve Tex Mex but their prices are very high for a takeout place.

So, the food here is fantastic. It’s really tasty and probably one of the more interesting takeaways around here.

However, NEVER get this delivered. Every single time stuff is packaged like it was rushed out the door without a care, sloppy boxes of food thats just been thrown into it’s container and more than once, we’ve had the right item with the wrong meat and ingredients. I don’t know how much of the mess is down to the drivers, but I feel as though its on the part of the establishment since it’s always packaged very lazily and the wrong ingredients makes me only too sure.

So, get this food in person, it’s banging but they seem to just not give a single monkeys uncle about the delivery stuff. Maybe its the nature of the food. Just don’t bother with delivery as I say.

Really excellent Mexican street food, large portions, full of flavour for a very reasonable price. We loved it and so did our two toddlers. Highly recommended.

One of the worst takeaways me and my family have ever had. It was incredibly expensive for what we had and my mum nearly died choking on a nacho, it got stuck in here throat! Didn't even taste that good, never again.

My brother lives down here and every time I visit I’m always in this place. The lady in charge and all her staff are amazing. Love it

We had a huge Burrito each tonight before a trip to see llandudno fireworks! Delicious and tasty and fresh! We were glad to stop by again and were not disappointed.Definately worth a try if your in Rhos on sea.

My son paid £35+ for three burritos - one vegetable, one chicken and one beef. Mine was the vegetable burrito and I can honestly say it was the worst take-out I have ever had the misfortune to eat. The vegetables seemed to come from Asda pre-prepped packs with half a dozen kidney beans and a few grains of rice thrown in and to make things worse the root vegetables were rock hard and the whole meal stone cold.
The other two burritos were little better and 50% of all three went into the food caddy - it would have been more, but we were all hungry and begrudged wasting so much of my son's hard earned cash.
I've looked at other reviews and can't believe we're talking about the same place, our food really was incomparably bad. So, what happened Mexican Wave, you used to be so good - was this honestly just a one off truly awful experience?
