The team at Camden Locks are so friendly and helpful. I had my dimples pierced here in December last year but had to take them out for dental work and the holes closed! Marlene was amazing; she made time for me right then and there and was reassuring. Can’t recommend enough

After searching online for ages, I came across Camden Locks Alternative.
What's really lovely is that the piercer is woman, which I think is great (especially if its an intimate piercing). The lady who pierced me made me feel very comfortable, guided me through the whole process and she even gave me advice on aftercare and said that I could contact her if I had any problems. I had my tongue pierced and both nips by her and it was such an easy process.
I highly recomend Camden Locks Alternative for piercings and will 100%come back for more!!!

So my earring got embedded no thanks to Claire’s (DONT USE CLAIRS) and my ear got the size of a ballon and now im pain free and enjoying my 2 sets of new earrings. Amazing service and I’ll always go back to them. So lesson learned, pay that little extra for your piercings guys.

TOTAL RIP OFF!! I visited Camden locks for partial dreadlocks last year. I thought everything was ok, expensive! But ok, and even left a good review. It wasn’t until I visited Dijana dreadlock shop for maintenance ( I couldn’t afford to go back to Camden Locks!) that I realised how badly they ripped me off. I paid £900 for 14 dreadlocks! They were half my own hair and half extensions using human hair. The way Hani did the dreadlocks was very cheeky to start with.. she half did a few and just did the roots of the rest so I had no choice but to go back and get them finished. She took 3 appointments to finish! £900 later I had just 14 dreadlocks!! I ended up getting the rest of my hair dreaded by Dijana. Completed in 1 day, 35 dreadlocks, plus 2 packets of really good quality human hair £600. I should’ve trust my instincts when neither of the ladies working there had dreadlocks. Whilst I was in the shop they had 3 other clients in 3 days! This shop isn’t the buzzy alternative shop it makes out to be. A empty shop with no atmosphere and a complete rip off! AVOID THIS SHOP!!!

I received a tattoo from Maria. Two of my friends had been tattooed by her so I wanted to get one too! It was my first tattoo so I was a little nervous but she made me feel so comfortable and the vibe of the shop is just relaxing. We chatted the whole time and there was music in the background. Defo recommend!!

Such a nice place!! We came as a group of 5 friends to get two tattoos each over the week end. Maria is such a sweetheart and her work is absolutely stunning!! She took her time designing our tattoos and making sure our opinions were heard. We loved it so much that as soon as we got our tattoos we were already thinking about our next ones. If you want to get a tattoo come here, the staff is very friendly and they are very professional and hard working.
