Station Minicabs

Very reasonably priced and to date not had any issues whether it being getting to an airport, or hospital when our baby was born...I've found their taxis to be almost too punctual!

Booked an airport cab, 30 minutes before due time the company called to say they'd be 10-15 minutes late because of traffic. Asked them to check it wouldn't be more than this as, you know, flight to catch. They assured me it was. Got to 25 minutes late, called an Uber. The driver eventually got here 40 minutes late. These things happen but the office needs to be honest with customers. Won't use again.

Just to warn everyone here - don’t ever use Station Minicabs (also called radio cars). They were late to pick me up to the airport by 40 minutes, kept giving me misleading information (said the driver is 5 minutes away and when I called to check he was still 5 minutes away) and when I expressed my frustration they guy just hang up. I had to book an Uber.

I booked an airport transfer for an early morning flight. The driver was early, polite and got us there safely. Would recommend and use again.

Oct 2022 - It seems I'm not able to leave a second review so I'm having to add to the one I left last year. Once again I have had excellent service from Station Minicabs (formerly Central Radio Cars). This morning was the first time I have booked via the website and it was really easy. The confirmation email and text were reassuring and the link to allow you to track the cab is great - it was so useful to be able to see when the car was approaching so I could put the cat in his basket at the last minute and not add to the stress of the trip to the vet! Please please give my thanks to my two drivers from today - Steven (driver 13) and Abdul (driver 3) - both were absolutely lovely, professional, chatty, I could not fault them in any way. They were also both extremely understanding about the fact that I had temporarily lost my purse, which was very embarrassing and worrying for me. I have now found it and left money at the office for them but want to say THANK YOU so much for being so kind about it and I apologise for any inconvenience.

Oct 2021 - I have been using this reliable company for around 15 years but only felt compelled to leave a review this morning after the man in the office went above and beyond to help me get me and my cat (both quite stressed!) to our vet appointment after one of their other drivers got stuck in traffic. The man locked the office and came to pick me up personally while diverting the business calls so he could answer from the car. I'm so impressed and quite moved that he would go to such lengths - such care for the customer should be applauded. The driver who took me home later on was also absolutely lovely - friendly, chatty, opened the door for me, offered to help carry the cat basket. PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL FIRMS AND NOT UBER!!

Booked a cab for Stansted 5am yesterday driver was on time and polite and helpful . Will be using this service again

Prebooked for drop off and pick up yesterday, arrived on time, if anything I always find they arrive a few minutes early. Have always found them to be a reliable,
polite and courteous service, have used many times and would highly recommend.

We have used this company a few times and they have always delivered. Muhammed took my mum to the airport last week and not only was he on time but he was courteous, kind and she actually texted me back to say what a pleasant experience it had been. I have just booked with them again for later this week.
