For many years I have used this company with usually good and reliable service.
This afternoon I called for a cab from B&Q having 5 bags of compost and two small plants - all of which easily fitted into an ordinary boot of a sedan.
They quoted me a price and they sent a driver in a large people carrier who said that the price had doubled. I sent him off and contacted NW cars and explained what had happened.
He then said that the number of things I had with me to carry would definitely not fit in a standard car boot.
I have picked up the same amount with my neighbour’s small hatchback with no problem, so the guy was trying it on and taking me for a fool.
So, I'm not using NW cars any more, I'll take my business else where. I would have thought in these times, they would value repeat and loyal custom?
Obviously not.
If you like been taken for a fool, and for granted, by all means use NW Cars and enjoy paying double the price!

Disgrace. Awful. Avoid. Liars.
Booked a taxi, even checked again in the day to make sure it was confirmed (as would be stranded otherwise).
Didn’t turn up, tried to lie their way out of it, suggesting they couldnt confirm it on the day (even though we called them and did).
Another taxi firm that will drop your booking for something easier or more money. They don’t keep their word.

Terrible company. 25 minutes late. Not the driver fault as the company only called him to do the job at 4am which was the collection time. The taxi was booked in advance and I called to check all was in order ten minutes before the collection time. The taxi office would then not pick up any of my calls. Completely unprofessional and unreliable.

Have used NW Cars for 10+ years. Always found them to be reliable, on time, professional and friendly. Used them again today for an airport run and had the same experience. Would recommend to friends and family.

Very poor service, they don’t care for customers. I have used this cab company for many years, but last time they didn’t honour my booking, I booked a cab to the airport 48hr in advance, but they never showed , called the office and they never admitted their error and left me on the road. Do not trust them!!!

Really disappointed to have to post this review having used this company for many years .recently have had two bookings not fulfilled .
Booked an airport pick up ,Confirmed with them flight delayed and they would still pick up .on arrival no pick up .rang company,not only did they first say they didn't have the booking but then that they had flight time wrong.stranded after long journey with no option to get a very slow train home in middle of the night .promised a ' voucher ' for inconvenience . What a shame ,poor service and I will not use or recommend as cannot be relied upon and booking system does not work online or on telephone.

FEMALE PASSENGERS AVOID!!! Threatened my wife and kicked her out of the taxi in a dangerous area as she didn't have cash only card for payment. She suffers with anxiety and made her feel scared. Disgusting just to avoid 20% tax.

This company turned up on time kept me informed of where they were before arrival. Most importantly they did NOT double their fare due to the train strike. Well done NW Cars
