Usually this company has been awesome for price and service.

I have used them many times.

No point using this company's online booking system.

Taxi was booked (more than 24 hours ago) for 11.40pm.

I waited outside at 11.35pm.

Taxi arrived 24 minutes after expected time

I asked driver why late, he said he was only told after his previous job.

No discount or apology was offered for being late. (He didn't know about the job till recently, so how could he be late)

Update: (on Monday morning) (above review was written on Saturday night)

got a call from fleet to apologise.

Amended from 1 star to 3 star, as I would normally give them 5 stars.

I've never had a problem with the company before hence 2 stars not 1. I had booked a cab well in advance to take me to a medical appointment (which would be cancelled if more than 10 minutes late) I obviously allowed plenty of time to get to the clinic but in the end the taxi arrived at my home 30 minutes late. I had several conversations with the controller explaining my situation to be told that the driver had rejected the call!!! How can this be? A booking is a contract,surely..The driver who eventually arrived was lovely( 1 *for him) Fortunately, although I arrived 20 minutes late the physio agreed to see me but for a truncated session. To add insult to injury I have been charged for this fiasco. Not good enough

Very reliable company, cab arrived on time and the driver was lovely and made the journey very pleasant! We had an appropriate amount of chat, not non stop, but no complete silence either, it was just right! Also the driver took another way on residential streets in order to avoid traffic and therefore I arrived early at my destination which is great! The price was decent too, taking into account it was morning rush hour and from zone 5 to zone 1, so very pleased with that as well. Thank you!

Good service . I have been using Fleetline for many years.
Polite friendly drivers.
The only point is they are not happy when we want to pay by card. .
INowadays cards are how everyone pays...I understand the drivers have to wait longer for their money so please as a company sort this out for your drivers .

When I booked a car to take me to my destination at 7.00pm I mentioned that I would need one for the return journey later that evening. I was advised to call back nearer the time. When I called at 10.30 there were no cars available. To be fair I tried three or four other taxi firms and the answer was the same. No cars available. I was travelling with a wheelchair user and we became stranded until our host insisted on driving us back.
What’s happened to this vital service?

We booked and used this taxi service this morning. The driver arrived half an hour earlier than our pick up time - we advised him that we would be coming down at the agreed time. When we did come down, the driver shouted at us and disrupted our street very early in the morning - his gripe being that he had to wait 30 minutes for us; clearly nothing to do with us. The entire journey was uncomfortable and awkward - entirely unnecessarily. We had also advised the office at the time of booking that we had luggage with us and told them how many bags - the driver appeared to have an issue with this too and almost did not take one of our bags. I would not recommend this service to anyone and won’t be using them again.

Edit: and don’t bother emailing the company as suggested below - you won’t get a response and this is clearly an automated reply from a company that doesn’t care about good customer service.

Very pleased, driver on time, the journey was good and smooth within the speed limit that’s what I like. Driver pleasant not a lot of conversation,but on the other hand I was reading my notes that’s fine. Well done.

So you try to keep the business local by booking a local firm. You fix a price of £65 for a pick up from T.3 and what happens?

Fleet cars then assign the job some other cab firm who turn up to the terminal too early, incur additional parking and demand £80 plus £11.40 parking. How does a fixed price £65 journey turn in to a demand for £91.40?

I appreciate if you’re delayed, you’d be expected to pay a little extra parking and wait time, but we were out of the terminal within 45 mins of the flight landing on time.

Will never use fleet cars again. Be warned these guys will not honour any prices previously agreed.
