The driver of car KN67 DDK (licence number 2192) drove out of the airport and had his phone in his hand, looking at the screen and typing whilst approaching a roundabout on a public road.
He argued when told to put it down and showed absolutely no sign of remorse or apology and appeared to think this illegal and dangerous behaviour was acceptable as he was "programming the sat nav"
I shall also be reporting this to the local taxi licensing authority.

Reliable, friendly and classy service, only made possible by exceptional drivers like Sohrab (driver 38). Car was immaculate and perfectly on time. We left a phone in the vehicle, which is a nightmare, and the driver dealt with the issue immediately and even charged the phone that was low to see if we would contact him, for which we did. Dropped it to our door. Cannot fault this service and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quality and trustworthy transfer to the airport. Thank you!

Terrible! There was a queue when I arrived so I used their self order machine where it said you can 'order your car' yourself.

I used the machine, paid only to be told I now had to queue up at the counter to request a taxi. Pointless!

I was in a rush and was told it was going to be a 30 minute wait so I had to make alternative arrangements. That being said, I had still paid and was now due a refund. They guy at the counter told me who to email which I did. A month later, no refund and no communication.

Quick to take your cash but anything else and they are terrible and over priced. £120 to go to E London. Jesus!

I rarely give one star reviews out, but Airport Cars Gatwick deserves some feedback. Any other airport I've been to has a taxi rank. Taxis arrive and you get in. Easy. But at Gatwick you have to use a single taxi company that takes your postcode, number and makes you wait 15 - 30 minutes. Drivers come in and call your name, or maybe they don't. Drivers are wandering around trying to find their customers. The staff at reception have no idea what's going on. Customers are getting upset. People are getting into cars and then getting out of cars again because they found out they were in the wrong car, or it had too few seats.

It must be a terrible first impression of England for visitors and it's an unpleasant end to a trip away for residents.

It could be part of a strategy to encourage more rail travel. It's certainly a lesson in how not to run a taxi rank.

Please Gatwick Airport, get rid of this chaos and just have a simple taxi rank like any other airport.

Booking seems easy on arrival into Gatwick as if the cars are ready and waiting. However having taken the money we were then locked into the big wait, with none able to tell us when if it the taxi will arrive. Many other families experiencing then same.

NEVER AGAIN. The worst service ever! 07.08.22 we ordered a taxi to London in this kiosk. They said we should wait for a car for 20-30 minutes. We waited for an hour! And all their workers just disappeared from the parking, so we couldn't even ask anything. And couldn't go back to the kiosk without missing this prepaid taxi. Furthermore it's super overpriced, 125 pounds to E London.

Absolute stitch up. No option for Uber after our flight or taxi rank just this dodgy company. Our taxi driver swerved around the road and had no idea where he was going, and even took us to the wrong hotel giving another 10min add on at already 2am.

I booked online with this company to get us home from a summer holiday. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours so I cancelled the taxi booking and had confirmation that I would get a refund for the cancelled booking. It's now a month later and still no sign of the refund. To begin with I got emails saying it would absolutely be paid - email responses have dried up now...
The online booking system was poor. The telephone customer service was abysmal. And now it's clear that the refund promises are worthless.
I recommend avoiding this company at all costs.
