Fantastic atmosphere and food. Was very well looked after by the waitress so went the distance to check ingredients the cakes were made from. Everything taste so fresh and the scones although sounded the most blandist thing on the menu were amazing.

Went for the harry potter themed afternoon tea here today! Amazing hosts and delicious food. The soup was so yum, as were the treats! Especially the snitch shaped cake pops. Highlight of the event was the broomstick flying lesson 👌

Cracking afternoon tea for our 1st wedding anniversary. Came out absolutley stuffed and the price was very good. The only niggle I had is that the room we were in was very noisy, couldn't really hear each other speak. But other than that, perfect and can't wait to return.

Great stop here on our bike ride, the breakfast is fantastic, the coffee too. The service is very good even with our large party. Loved it.

I really loved the decor and the little touches of the dressings of the tables and the walls. It is done extremely tastefully.

It is set around late 1930's 1040's and it is lovely to see. I was really excited by the old looking menu case.

As a home baker, for family and friends, I do feel constantly disappointed when I go for afternoon tea and the bread is shop bought. I bake my own bread, make my own cakes, and when I go for afternoon tea, I want that to be better than I make.

I have been researching the best afternoon tea in the north west for the last 12 months, and I am still to find a place that baked it's own bread.

The picture big the gentleman's afternoon tea, appeared to have had more scotch eggs and pie's on it as well. I don't know of this is the angle of the photo.

However, there is a very good selections of tea.

We had the traditional afternoon tea for three of us.. The food was lovely, me being someone with a more savoury tooth I'd prefer the choice of swapping one of the scones to be a scotch egg or meat pie. We ordered a portion of chips which were homemade like mummy used to make them and the onion rings amaze balls. We enjoyed our experience the atmosphere was just perfection
