An amazing place to visit, tucked away behind the library but well signposted from the main road this is a fascinating and well portrayed world war 2 tea room with period furniture and accessories that absolutely suit each other to make this a fabulous and must see venue for any ww2 enthusiast. The food and service were superb as well, the owners are lovely and happy to chat about their business with interested parties. It is both popular with locals and travellers from out of town due to its eclectic charm and great food and service.
We certainly would recommend it and will most definitely be visiting again.

My son and I always enjoy our "dates" here. The food is great, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is always jolly, fun and calm. The history of the building is something more should be aware of and the way it has been preserved and presented is exactly as you would hope. 10/10 on all counts

Very nice setting, it's unique war setting gives a different experience.
It was full of people which was a good sign, we didn't book but they found us a table.

The tea cups are very elegant and made in Britain. You can see the setting in the pictures.

The staff are friendly and polite.

The food was great

We would definitely recommend this place.

It was a nice themed cafe.
Reasonably basic food and drink options at reasonable prices.
The food options fitted the war/1940s theme of the cafe.
The decor was the best part of this place. Worth a visit.

It seemed like about half of the customers were regular and then others were new like myself and Co

Very small little place, made to feel small as it was so busy with customers. Nothing seemed to stop them though. Staff so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
