Crazy bear, what a find, I had never heard of it prior to going there. Every aspect of this experience was quality. Food, drink and service was exceptional. Highly recommended. To truly enjoy you will need £200 per head. What a night! (English restaurant) (Thai restaurant wasn't open on the Monday night we visited)

The food here is genuinely delicious. So good in fact that I am going to forgive the seating arrangement (kind of).

Myself and my partner had a 10 plate sharing menu and every dish that was served was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. I don't have any complaints about the food at all.

Due to the food tasting so good I would feel as though I was being unnecessarily mean to give anything less than 5 stars but it should be noted that the restaurant ceiling height is less than 6 foot and the floor plan is pretty tiny. The venue is decorated in what I would describe as quintessentially Moroccan decor with plenty of mirrors which suits and helps the small space.

In conclusion. Great food, great staff, venue designed for Hobbits. I would reccomended to anyone who doesent have a bad back.

What an odd place. On the one hand, the atmosphere of the enclosed garden space, the service (largely) and the food were all really excellent. We ordered off the Thai menu and it was first-rate, perhaps some of the best Thai food we'd ever had. Lovely cocktails, especially the Old Fashioneds. Friendly, attentive service on what seemed to be low staff numbers.

However, prices were surprisingly high, even for Oxfordshire. Had we not had the 50%-off lunch offer on our side, we wouldn't have been so satisfied. Coupled with this, the inside seating area (for both restaurants) was dingy - cramped, dark and inexplicably smelly, like your local boozer that hasn't been cleaned of beer stains for a week. That's why we chose to sit outside, and luckily the weather obliged.

Overall, a real mixed bag. Self-consciously quirky decor and fancy service and seating does not London prices make. But we felt like we made the most of it.

Don’t waste your money. The waiters were lovely but food is poor quality and so expensive - we’ve had better takeaways for a fraction of the price. If you do go, make sure to phone to try and reserve an outdoor table as the downstairs arrangement is compact and not very comfortable. Shame as many people come here for a special occasion and I’m sure are disappointed like us.

The best Thai restaurant around Oxford. It’s a high end restaurant, w authentic Thai cooking w real Thai chef. We have been coming here for couple of years. We like the service old gent, very friendly and experienced. It’s not cheap but well deserved

Very uncomfortable seating area, where the waiter constantly asking us to move and sit tighter cause he was trying to fill other people in a tiny table next to us. Very bad service. Unfortunately there was a waste of money and ruined our special night. Even though we booked in advance there was very poor service.
The food was good but I left the restaurant feeling that I don’t want to go back.

We had dinner and drinks here on Friday 17th December and the experience was really poor. The food was fairly average, though it was really busy so we weren't expecting to be blown away though for the money we expected better. The service however, was truly horrendous!! We skipped dessert and instead ordered a drink before leaving, however after 5 minutes when we were halfway through our drinks we were asked by the waitress if we would mind leaving to free up the table. We explained that we hadn't had dessert and we'd be 5-10 minutes longer and the waitress smiled and walked off. 2 minutes later a short lady purposefully strode over and declared "we need this table back now so you need to take your drinks to the bar area". No please, no 'sorry to interrupt you'. As we tried to explain that we had ordered our drinks instead of dessert she continued to cut us off which was incredibly rude and kept repeating that it made no difference and we needed to leave NOW... When we were finally able to explain that if we had ordered dessert it likely wouldn't have even arrived yet, let alone would we have finished it, she stated once again that she didn't care and we needed to leave now. We'll never return, never seen anything like it especially when our bill was £420 for 4 people!

One of our party went back in while we were waiting for our taxi to have a courteous word with the manager about the situation and he was immediately defensive and said "I don't believe that a member of my staff would speak to you like that" - or in other words, I think you're lying to me...

There was another lady waiting outside also complaining of a really poor experience so clearly we were not the only ones. It's evident there is no consideration for smaller groups with a focus on turning tables around as quickly as possible and prioritising larger bookings and corporate events where I imagine the bulk of their revenue is made.

Real shame as the farm shop there is lovely and we shop there regularly but never again...
