Extremely angry lady who's works there. To the point she followed me outside and threaten to punch me haha.. All because I had a £10 note to pay for the item for £1 but she demanded I pay by card as she had no change to give me?! If a shop doesn't have change of a £10 note I don't think they should be opening until they do. I did tell her she would have to serve me obviously.. which she clearly didn't like so thought it would be ok to follow me, my partner and child out to my van to threaten me. Classic butch lady 👍

Went in there today and there were three Hitler books on the shelves. I asked the manageress if she thought this was acceptable and, though she did take them off, said “we have to cater for all tastes” I didn’t realise the YMCA had to cater for Nazis. Shameful.

Well organised store, all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We'll priced furniture and good quality. Highly recommended.

The shop feels a little disorganised: some lovely furniture and a really good second hand book and children's toys/board game section, but the clothes section is lacking and not appealing. They currently have a box of baby clothes, 3 for £1, which is a great thing, but overall I wonder if it would be better to focus on one or two areas, rather than accommodate areas where donations are weak, such as the clothes.

Over priced!!!!.......I did before donate but the prices are ridiculous...shall not anymore. Suppose to help those who can't afford full price items... Aswell as raise money for others.. But to be told they have done higher prices because the 'foreigners', come in and grab everything and will pay higher...or we work from a list, where's that list from, who ever made it must have been basing it on city prices!...prices need to be regional....those on benefits struggle, many I know, British and non British... Sofas for £350....joke.... Clothes priced at over half new cost...worn and second hand!!!

Popped in, saw some items on the table. Lady told me they havnt been priced and not for sale.. Asked if willing to sell today and was told "dont know, maybe today or later whenever I get to pricing them"

Customer service wasnt great... seems like they didnt want to make an effort to sell the items... how NOT rewarding for a charity it supports.
