We have visited this store and did not find much variety. Also one of the staffs, I think cannot tolerate children in the store. I visited store two times and I got comment on my child about his activity with some of stuff there. I ensure that I kept watch all the time. The behavior of male staff forced me to come out of shop and I decided not to visit that store again.

I have suggestion for others , if you have child who is bit active , cannot sit quite at one place, do not visit this store !!.

I visited british heart foundation about a month ago now. When I entered the shop with my partner all of the staff members turned to us who were gathered around the till area. A larger bloke, quite rude and arrogant, shouted across the shop asking where our masks were. To which we responded we do not have any. He immediately started running towards us (literally running as though he was fuming) and told us to get out of the store in the most rude and abrupt way. I simply responded his customer service was very poor and if that’s how he conducts himself and talks to people he should not be working in a customer service setting. He then came launching towards me shouting get out get out so my partner actually had to stand in front of me in concern at how angry this gentlemen was. We left but will not be returning. For all this gentlemen knew we were exempt from wearing masks and instead of approaching us in such a rude manner he should have politely asked us about our masks and our situation. Also to be chased out of a shop by an employee is just disgraceful. Would not recommend giving your hard earned money to this charity. Very rude staff.

The hire worst of subcontractors to deliver. The subcontractor will humilate you and will lie as well but BHF will not care about it. They dont even able to start a compalin as well. The store manager so useless.

Person, I think is seniour and manager in the store is very rude. I am not sure if don’t like Asian people. He treated us very badly and he was asking us to leave. We just asked him an option to deliver the stuff in different date as we have important meetings on date he is suggesting however he started misbehaving. Although stuff is really good and durable.

We recently bought a few essential furniture items and they were delivered the very next day. The store manager Laurence is a very polite and friendly person and has been very helpful whenever we've visited the store. Overall we've had a great experience with this BHF store so far, and would highly recommend to anyone searching for used quality furniture.

We had a terrible experience with the collection of furniture. The person doing collections had prescriptions that the BHF didn't communicate to us before and left without taking our things. We wanted to do a good deed, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouth.

I've been using this store for over 6 years. The staff have always pulled out all the stops to provide great service and work relentlessly to keep the shop full of great items and I often see them moving furniture around way past closing hours to keep everything fresh for customers.

The negative comments here are around collecting furniture and delivery times. Me and my family have never had any issues with collections or deliveries (they offer a useful AM or PM slot, and even come out same day locally and on bank holidays!). It should be quite obvious the charity can only pick up items that someone would later want to buy. They take the time to be extremely clear with the questions they ask before attempting to collect anything so perhaps people should look at what they are donating, be honest about the condition, and ask themselves if they would pay for it.

A very well run operation. Grateful for all the assists over the last half decade+.
