"They take ANYTHING" said my neighbour who is downsizing and going to live by the sea. And they do! Although, "anything" in Richmond is code for "anything posh" - so it's worth a good rummage here if you're buying.

Wow. Absolutely appauled. Just tried to buy a dress that consists of 2 parts (slip and netted see through top layer) each piece was sneakily priced individually? Pointed this out and the supposed manager agreed it was an error and then for some reason attempted to raise the price in front of me and then refused to sell as a set - repricing individually. Its a shame because you get these items as free donations and I was about to spend £50+ including my other items and this money has now not made it to a good cause because of your management's greed over £3? I'm in disbelief...

The store is neat and tidy, but the staff are not particularly friendly. I came in only to donate some times, including lots of foreign coins. Overall disappointing. Also the selection of items was limited, there are no bargains here.

The most expensive charity shop I've ever visited. I regularly visit this place during my lunch break and whilst they do have a good selection of books, CDs and DVDs, the prices are often outrageous and not necessarily related to the physical quality of the item. Certain CDs will be two to three times the prices of others and this would suggest that they are being cynically priced according to their imagined rarity from various online sites. This undermines the whole point of charity shops as inexpensive places to pick up a second hand bargain for a good cause and it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. But if you're one of the beautiful people who live in Richmond these days and wouldn't be seen dead in a poor person's charity shop, if you like being taken for a ride with CDs for £6 and large hardback books of no value but on display in cabinets for £30-40, then this is the place for you, daaarling.
