Hi,

The staff are friendly if not a bit over zealous. The electrical goods are far to over priced and delivery charges are ridiculous.

I was quoted for local delivery £10 if under £50 or £20 over £50.

Prices for normal furniture were what you would expect for used condition.

Electrical goods were priced ridiculously, for the larger white goods the prices are only 10%-20% less than buying new from a high street retailer.

For example a used fridge will cost you between £70 - £90 plus delivery at £20. I purchased a new fridge from a well known store for £139 including delivery, the difference between used with missing parts, unknown history etc.. makes it far more economical to save a little more for a new and fully guaranteed item.

This is supposed to be a charity selling used second hand goods which are donated by kind people trying to give to those who need it, instead their goods are being sold on to those less fortunate at not much less than retail.

Shameful...

This is the only furniture store in the downtown area. They offer bargains on used furniture and kitchen appliances as well as new furniture. Will deliver, locally, as many goods as you like for a small fee.

Give a 2 star as their is some good three pieces there but very very expensive for a second hand shop love to known who prices them up

Nice store, good signage for Covid, but not well enforced. A member of the staff constantly followed me around, and went within my 2 meter bubble. I also saw a staff blowing their nose with a hanky, putting it back in their pocket, and then carrying on without washing their hands.

They do however have sanitizer at the entrance, and asked me to use it! They also have barriers between the till and customers, and a "one way" route on the ground.

Wished l had looked at the reviews before requesting a collection. Pick up today was at 8am and they refused every item, despite the fact that the person on the phone said they could collect. Was told items were too old and nobody was interested in old furniture and upcycling was a thing of the past. The main driver was very abrupt and certainly needs some customer training. I will be contacting another charity where they are more considerate.

Again another BHF with rude staff and ridiculous prices.

Telephone call to ask if I can donate a very good quality next chair, originally £350. Was declined, i asked if I can send a photo to show the quality of the item barely used. Was told 'that won't be necessary' in a rude tone. Rang another charity shop and they took the item. Didn't realise that giving to charity would be difficult.

In store service we found very good and items reasonably priced, the low score is because the delivery chaps did not handle the item correctly fell against our wall and damaged the back edge of the unit
