Amazing selection of children, adult fiction, sport, science, history, biography and old books at brilliant prices! Every time I go in, I find new things that i hadn't known I needed. There are also a large selection of DVDs, particularly children's films, records, maps, CDs and audio cassettes. A must visit if you are in the area.

Very over priced, price tags as expensive as high street stores. Fila trainers worth 39-54 pound new, were priced at 45 at this Oxfam shop. They were put on the shelves on 17th October, I kept looking almost everyday and as of just a week ago, December 17th, they were still not sold. One time, I tried speaking to the manager, a very nice lady with a nice Nordic accent. Told her they were too pricy for a shop middle-to-low-income earner shop, she gave me a lecture "We have a stock problem not a sales problem", no worried Oxfam, just try to notice how Cancer Research shop across the streets is always full with customers while your shop is not. I have been your customer for 12 years, have donated items worth thousands and have purchased items worth at least 3000 over the years, now I can assure you, you will not be getting my money or my donation items, because I do not want items I am donating for free being sold to people with very little money at top prices.

Why not change your name to Harrods? Very expensive. Never seen any such shop with such prices. A no-brand PJ trousers for men that appears really used was priced today at 19.99/ I could buy it new for 7 quids at Sainsbury's. I am not sure what Oxfam is thinking here but from my visit first I could tell not many shoppers.
