Oxfam Bookshop

You can get some really random books from here. It's your classic looking charity store and some of the volunteers that work here are brilliant.

Good selection of books - many of then are overpriced, but there is the occasional bargain. I usually visit on Sundays. There have been too many occasions when the shop was closed when it should have been open, due to lack of staff.

In this charity shop one can find many rare gems (even though pricey) and a lot of really good and cheap books.

A charity shop dedicated to books. More expensive than books from your average charity shop, with a much larger range to compensate.

The staff here is mental, today I was in the shop, a man came said if I recognise him, and he said he remember my eyes and he said he is the manager of this shop, he said I bumped into him on the street some day and want to bar me from his shop, I never bump into anyone so I asked when and where that happened , and he refused to answer and want to call the police, what??? Mental people? Racist or something?

I’ve found some real gems here. It’s well organised and the staff are very friendly. For those who choose to criticise maybe remember they are volunteers

I've visited hundreds of bookstores, and this has to be one of the best. The selection changes week by week, and having sci-fi right by the door makes it easy for me to get to my favourite section!

Very nice collection of cheap older books on the upper level of the store, which occasionally has a few gems.

A treasure trove of second hand books, arranged in good browsing order. I also love buying the Oxfam greetings cards here, which have lovely designs and are reasonably prices. It's also, of course, an opportunity to support a great organisation doing some important work where it's most needed in the world.
