CTD Tiles

Nice show room with plenty of staff. They stock some tiling tools I couldn't find anywhere else. Well staffed and they're really helpful helping customers to load. Located in an industrial park with plenty of parking.

Friendly staff. Craig super helpful. Great team of South Africans. Really nice to feel welcome when you go shopping for tiles. Customer service puts Topps Tiles and Tile Giant to shame!! Highly recommend this place. Prices also very competitive.

Good selection of tiles at affordable prices. Customer service is extremely very good with helpful sale assistants. Overall I had good experience with placing my order.

Terrible customer service. Absolutely shocked at how rude and intimidating the member of staff was. I made an official complaint. Found the Croydon branch to be better. But service was so poor at this store that I went to Boydens and Tops Tiles for a fairly large project. Would definitely not recommend CTD Tiles. Got competitive offers for my tiles elsewhere and 3 months in am very happy with them. Plus got fantastic customer service!

Before ordering my tiles through the Wimbledon branch, I had been speaking to Craig on the phone, who was helpful in organising ordering the tiles, advising when to come and pick them up and he even loaded the car for me, which was much appreciated. However, when I asked him if I could return any unused tiles after the fitters had been, he failed to mention that I had to return them within 28 days of purchase; and if I returned after that, I would not be refunded for 20% of the value.

So I got a shock when I went to return the leftover boxes (which was a couple of weeks after this made-up deadline, due to being at the mercy of when the fitters could do the job). I had an unpleasant encounter with another member of staff on this occasion who was rude and unapologetic about the fact he wouldn’t be able to issue 20% of the refund.

However, after leaving a review on here explaining the issue, I got a call from the Regional Manager Darren who sorted it out and ensured the store phoned me, apologised and gave me the rest of my refund. So I am grateful for that and am revising my review accordingly.

The policy itself however - admittedly set by CTD's head office and not the store - definitely takes advantage of their customers and needs revising.

Wouldn't even give 1 star if it was possible. They have 0 customer service and they blame the customer customer their staffs mistakes. Wont order a single stone from this place ever. Do not recommend it to anyone.
