Topps Tiles Bury St Edmunds

I needed some old stock of tiles so went to tops tiles .they no longer did them and phoned round for me .located them in gt Yarmouth.had them sent to bury .job done .cant say how very grateful I am to staff for there helpfulness.

Very helpful team. Went out of their way to help and advise, getting stock in from other shops/ making sure I got what I needed to finish the job. Came up with things I wouldn't have thought of to help make sure the job turned out perfectly too. If you're looking for advice on tiling, they're the people to go to in the area. Thanks guys.

Very impressed with the team and the store. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would recommend going in and chatting to them about your project before starting, things like which type of wall you have (plaster, plasterboard, brick) can limit your choice in tiles due to the weight. This can save you lots of money and time by skipping plastering and installing 'tile board' and 'Tanking' (waterproofing).

The store has lots of choice and samples, nicely laid out with large display walls of their more popular lines. Delivery times on stuff not in stock is pretty quick. Free parking outside. Easy to find with clear signs.

Friendly, patient and knowledgeable staff.

Very impressed with the staff at BSE Topps tiles. Though they greeted us on arrival, they left us undisturbed to make our choice. Then Michael and the manager were helpful and friendly and offered guidance on adhesives etc without being pushy or patronising.
When I returned to pick up the tiles and buy adhesive and grout I had the same friendly service from Sarah and another manager, who also helped load the 300kg of tiles.

Purchased some 50×30 mokara grey and white tiles back in September for a bathroom project. When my tiler went to fit the white tiles above the grey tiles he noticed they were 3-4mm smaller . So had to have the white tiles fitted as a brick pattern.(see photo) a real inconvenience for the tiler. Anyway I've just gone in to complain and was told that there is variations in the tile sizes. I said you should supply the same size and he said we did not know your application. Well whether the tiles are going to be fitted as a brick pattern or in a straight line they need to be the same size.
So I recommend that you get your tiler to get your tiles for you as you could have the same problem as me. I will NEVER buy from Topps Tiles ever again. Terrible customer service.
Note:- They also sold me 4 tubs of adhesive that was no good for my application!! Beware!!
