Ordered tiles spent over £1200, had them delivered to then realise they were the wrong colour which was argued by a manager that it’s the collect tile and not what where advertised on the website. To then be told by a manager Johnathan the pictures on the website are factory pictures and not actually the item you are receiving. No idea why there’s a website where you can see what your ordering if your not getting what’s advertised on there. No where does it say you won’t receive the item pictured on the website when making your order. No resolution was given everything even though we’ve had to pay for a tilers days wage to do nothing as it’s there mistake, either sending the wrong tile or falsely advertised via the website.
Was told I need to pay for a carrier out of my own pocket to transport the tiles that weigh 1800kg from Birmingham To Ipswich to get a refund. Even though I’ve lost out of money from paying tilers (which missed a days work) and put me behind god knows how many days. Poor poor service avoid

We placed our tile order online and arranged to collect it at the nearest store to us. When we arrived we were surprised there appeared to be very little Covid safety in place. The store had put large tile adhesive buckets in front of the counter so you couldn’t approach the counter. There were three members of staff and as we were the only ones in the store we shouted to them that we had placed an order and had telephoned earlier that day to confirm we would be in. One staff member ignored us, one spoke to us but the other member of staff is the person who actually went off to get our order. It actually took us several minutes to ascertain who was actually serving us. We asked advice but it was like pulling teeth trying to get any informed advice. We actually worked it our for ourselves. To pay we had to lean over the large buckets of tile adhesive and we also surprised to see no screens around the till. Once we had left the store we both remarked how disinterested they seemed in having customers or offering advice. If they have no pride in their jobs they should think long and hard about their future as there are millions out there who would do anything to work. I would not wish to repeat our experience and will probably go elsewhere next time.

There are cheaper tile places around but these guys do have a good selection and staff that speak to you and help with any queries.

Very helpful staff who helped us choose just the tiles we were looking for to complete the look in our bathroom. Charlotte was very patient and had lots of ideas. The tiles we chose were much cheaper than we expected and our family and friends have said it looks amazing so many thanks !

The service from topps tiles was gold standard. So helpful, even recommending a first class plumber when I was let down.
