National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Not sure what they do here! Had a flat tyre a few days ago and google gave this as the closest tyre fitter. Limped the car there and all of the car bays were empty, no one working on anything at all. Go into office and was told that they were too busy and no one could look at it until 5pm the following day. Needless to say we moved on to a better establishment (ATS)

My father in law (84) was booked in for car MOT. Drove 17 miles to appt for it to be cancelled when he got there.
Guy said he rang yesterday to inform.
However, they have an anwser machine but no message was left, so the 34 mile round trip was done.
This also happened 3 times last year.
Not good enough in afraid. No excuse not to leave a message.
Mileage, fuel, time and his age are all important factors here.
Customer & family not happy.

The online service was not great as I bought the tyre online i had the tracking done at the same time which involved them removing the splash guard. This was not put back correctly with parts missing. It broke in the wind whilst driving the next day and I had to get a new one fitted. The tyres are good for a budget tyre.

I was most satisfied by the courtesy, service and value for money given here when I purchased two new tyres and had the tracking done. I have no hesitation in recommending Lee and his team at National Tyres in Tiverton.

Meh. Tyres all changed and good. But the customer service is terrible. Took nearly an hour to pay after the tyres were fitted!

Ordered my tyres online and booked in a slot for today at 5pm. Arrived 10 minutes before, as outlined in their T&C's, only to be told they have two of the tyres I ordered and not all four. Would have appreciated a call earlier that day (as I am self-employed and left work earlier to get the last available time slot of the day) to let me know but was left to make the journey in before I was told. Not great!

Service took longer than I expected, however, after discussing this with the manager, he dealt with the issue with great professionalism and offered to deduct a small amount from my fee for the inconvenience.

I can't fault National Tyres at all. My windscreen wipers had detached themselves and typically on a rainy day I needed them clipped back on. I was able to just drive in and they clipped them back on for me without any appointment needed and no charge which I felt terrible about. I was able to drive back safely home to Cornwall with the wipers still in tact! Next time, I'll remember to bring cash to leave a tip!
