We could not have had a better experience than with Dave with ToursByLocals. He was very nice, knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. He arrived on time, his car is beautiful and in immaculate condition. He is also a great driver! He is extremely knowledgeable of London and the surrounding area. His knowledge of Stonehenge was more than you could learn in a book! What a great experience! We will definitely book with them again on our next trip!

Lawerence was a great tour guide. He definitely knew all about London and British history. Funny, oh my, we laughed so much. The origins of many of our idioms come from the past, which he told us about. Some were rather gruesome. He was vary accommodating to the physically challenged members of our group. I would definitely tour with Lawrence again. Great guy giving a great tour experience.

Frank was timely (a little early even) on pick up and full of historical knowledge. We took a day trip from London to Bath and Stonehenge. He was patient and adjusted as needed for the ability of our elderly parents. Well researched of history! Frank's Stonehenge tour should not be missed! This is someone who can talk at length on architecture, ancient history, and Abbey Road.

Five stars is not enough. Peter is terrific! What a find! Kept all of us engaged and went off the beaten path to show us hidden in plain sight London. If you have the chance to hire him DO IT! You will be blown away at his knowledge and willingness to share it.

Our tour guide, Rachel was the best! We had just come off of a fairly active cruise around the United Kingdom with 14 stops and we had already spent 2 jam packed days in London. To say we were tired is an understatement. Rachel, tailored our day with some walking and a ton of history. This lady knows London inside and out! I really wanted to see Abbey Road. She even snapped some pictures of us in the crosswalk. We also had Sunday Roast in a little pub. The perfect end to a great trip.

I recently discovered Tours by Locals and it was the best thing that ever happened! Make sure if you're cruising to check out the shore excursion part - they know every port you are going to depending on your cruise! (didn't know it was there until last minute!! - hint -press the 3 bars on the upper right!) Then I cancelled every ship excursion If Tours by Locals were at that port.
We used 4 separate guides - who were absolutely fabulous, always timely, friendly, knowledgeable and able to arrange special things for us--that only a local guide would know.
Also the day before you go - the company sends you a reminder of your upcoming excursion - including guides cell number.

P.S. In this day of COVID - it was nice to be just our group - which ranged from 4-8. The prices were comparable -sometimes less! and we got so much more!! Whenever I cruise, Tours by Locals will be the first place I go!!

We had a wonderful full day tour of London with Marcus. He picked us up at our hotel on time in his spotless vehicle & took us on a very comprehensive tour of the city based on our interests. This which allowed us to see many great sites in Westminster & the city of London. The highlight was the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace on the Queen's 70th jubilee. He also found us a delightful pub for lunch. I would highly recommend Marcus if wanting an informative and enjoyable tour of London.

"Up to eleven" is an idiom coined in the 1984 film "This Is Spinal Tap," where guitarist Nigel Tufnel demonstrates an amplifier with volume knobs marked from "0" to "11", instead of the usual "0" to "10." So, Rachel customized our Rock Around London tour beyond expectations. In advance, I listed the progressive rock bands and others on my tour wish list. From Yes, Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull, to Led Zeppelin and The Who to The Beatles and from David Bowie to Thin Lizzy, Rachel canvassed Soho. Book with Rachel today!
