Fishpond Lane nature reserve

This pond is lovely especially if you enjoy watching the birds. We saw lots of ducks, a few geese, moorhens. There is a safety barrier around the pond but the friendly ducks come through to take the food. Please feed seed, oats, defrosted peas, sweetcorn and only a small amount of bread (it has very little nutritional value)
There are a couple of benches so you can sit and watch the birds although I'd imagine you would only spend 30 mins max there.

The place is ok but no car parking, but if you are going on a Sunday you can park your car next to a private clinic car parking. Take few 20 pence with you so that you will get feeds for the ducks over there. Kids will definitely enjoy this place. No tickets needed it's free and an open space.

There is just a bench outside to sit on but the ducks come out to meet you and wander across the road
There were large puddles on the road which the duck drank from. My granddaughter loved it so am sure she will be taken there quite often as nearby to where she lives
