Camboats - Cambridge Passenger tours

We had a 3-hour cruise on 'Rosie' as a private hire for a special wedding anniversary, out to the Fens and then back to Cambridge City Centre. The countryside was beautiful and the city really interesting, as the rowing season was getting going. Peter was brilliant, helpful in advance, extremely informative as we chugged along the river, pleasant and accommodating throughout. We ate a nice lunch and relaxed into the gentle pace.
It was an extremely enjoyable experience and it is honestly hard to know how it could have been bettered. Thoroughly recommended!

We have just celebrated my friends hen party in Cambridge and one of our highlights was afternoon tea on 2 of the E-boats. The service has been exceptional from my first communication. Nothing has been too much trouble. Peter even took all of our luggage (13 cases!) to our hotel which was outside of Cambridge so we could relax and enjoy our boat ride!
I can't recommend this activity or company enough. The river trip was peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Our afternoon tea plentiful and delicious.

We hired Rosie for a family outing. Peter was well prepared with sanitiser as we boarded, and as we were bringing our own picnic, supplied the drinks at a reasonable price. He gave us a useful commentary on things to look out for as we went along, and even supplied sunflower seeds so the children could feed the swans and ducks along the way. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended

Had a fabulous private river trip on Rosie the narrow boat. The host / Captain Peter was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, informative and friendly. He provided a running commentary on the tour of the local area and wildlife on the river. He provided a plentiful picnic lunch. Rosie is moored off the beer garden of the Plough PH in Fen Ditton which had plenty of parking and is an ideal starting point. From booking to start of the trip Peters communication was excellent. Would highly recommend for a trip of any occasion whether it be a romantic, family or work team building day.

Skipper Peter could not have been nicer. A relaxing trip up the river. Get close up and personal with the ducks and swans. Cormorants, Herons and fish easy to spot from the boat whilst gently gliding along taking in the stunning scenery which can only be appreciated from being on the river.
Would definitely go again if we are ever back this way.

Had a family trip on the Rosie for two hours and cannot think of a better way of spending the time. Peter was exceptionally helpful and communication friendly and even provided food for the swans as well as ourselves on the way. Joined the boat at Fen Ditton, came up as far as Jesus Lock, Cambridge, and then a little way in the opposite direction when we got back.
Weather perfect, trip divine.

We had such a wonderful Covid-safe river cruise for our wedding anniversary. Mark was a very informative and funny host, pointing out herons and interesting info about the river, and the fish and chips were delicious. It was such a memorable and wonderful experience, worth every penny and our nine-year old daughter loved it too.

I booked a 2 hour tour on the Roise narrowboat for my partners 33rd birthday. I had enquired about the tour 2 months in advance and throughout the 2 months was in contact with the captain Peter and no question or query was too much. Peter was very friendly and very helpful. I was allowed to arrive early and decorate the boat. It was a fantastic sail and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, even with a pandemic ongoing!! Thank you once again !!
