Scudamore's Quayside Punting Station

Really nice experience our punter was really lovely but can't remember his name but he said he was a local lad. We managed to get a discount on the 4 tickets which was awesome. Would definitely recommend the experience.

This was a really fun experience. We went here on a sunny Sunday, and had a great time. We went on one with a tour guide, who was also navigating the boat. I’d recommend this option as it’s much less stressful and gives you a chance to relax. That said, some people prefer to try navigating their own boats. The tour was very interesting and it was great to see all the different sites around Cambridge. It was moderately priced I’d say, and more expensive than the other nearby places (although the boats here looked nicer) the boats themselves are also pretty comfortable.

Decided to take my wife out to Cambridge for a punt down the Cam. We were not disappointed! The trip took about 45 minutes as you go up the river seeing the different architecture and the different colleges that together make up Cambridge University. The whole time the friendly knowledgeable punter was giving us a lot of information about what we saw as well as general trivia and facts from the history of this world leading University. I highly recommend you take a punt!

Stunning views of the most famous and most revered universities and bridges in the world from your own punt on Cam canal. Grab a pint and picnic nearby afterwards. Great fun for the whole family including fur babies. Unforgettable experience! And very affordable! (50 quid for 5 of us!)

All of the staff at Scudamore's Punting are very friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will come back again. In my experience, it is best to go during sunset time (Around 17.00/18.00) as that is when it is less busy on the river and you can get beautiful sunset photos.

We have a great time in Cambridge punting with Charlie as a well guide, very knowledgeable and told us about the history of colleges.
Got a £5 lower price with student discount than the regular £25, highly recommend to have a punt tour in Cambridge!

Relaxing...

The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly to us. They provided not only the boat and tour guide, but also blanket and hot water bag to keep us warm throughout the entire journey.

The journey is around 40-45 minutes. We went thru 9 bridges and by 8 Cambridge colleges. The tour guide, or the punter, provided very informative facts about the different colleges, and many interesting history and stories of the Cambridge University, we were never get bored.
