It is not a fascinating site compared to the tower of London. Specially the attention the tower gets, however, the remaining part of the wall is a testament of time. Almost for 1800 years it has been standing there. The small section of the remaining wall presented in such a way that one can see the cross section as well as different layers added in course of time by different people. Though it might not look like something huge today but think about the time was build and you will understand its impact.

A very interesting walk, if you're into historical development from cities. You see some very great remains of the old city wall from the old Roman settlement as well as from the newer settlement, which developed into the huge metropolis we know nowadays..

Even so it's very interesting, however the path isn't good maintained :/ every information sign at every station leads you to the next station, however some signs/stations have been removed, and so to find the station after the in missing I had to use my handy.. in the end I was more searching for stations at Google maps than actually doing the wall walk, which was quite annoying..

In the end I only found half of the stations but the ones I found mostly had been very interesting.

Small, but important! Little tangible evidence of Roman Londinium remains, and though it dwarfs the surrounding buildings, this stretch of city wall is one of the more impressive remnants. The London Wall Walk also starts here.

A fantastic piece of history hidden within the modern architecture of London. It is impressive to see the shear scale of these walls that once surrounded the city.

It's so great to be able to still see stuff like this existing around London and when I knew about it it went straight on my list of things to see although it blends in quite well so you could easily walk past and not even notice it even though it's a big wall it looks like it's meant to be there.

London wall one of the things to see in central London. I use to travel from tower hill station everyday but never noticed it. This is exactly how it looks in the pictures. It’s does have historical significance. It’s very near to Tower Bridge and London Bridge.

I do like the contrasts of London - historic and new - with all kind of forms, materials and colours. London is such a vibrant city. I LOVE IT.
