Great place for a quiet country walk with some nice views. Unusually, the low shrub that grows everywhere here is Gaultheria.

A peaceful forest area with lots paths and lovely views, mostly tree covered so wonderful for a cool walk on a sunny day. Has a good sized accessable (close to the road) car park.

There are numerous trails throughout the area that are great for all levels and especially for dogs. Going to the top of the hill is a bit of a steep trek, but the view is worth it.

Beautiful spot, short easy and well marked trail to follow in a loop. Will visit again

I’ve been coming here for years. This has always been an area for kids to build jumps away from everyone. The aggressive and patronising language used here is appalling. I hope kids will continue to build their jumps and take little notice of these signs. I saw two elderly women in high vis jackets complaining a few weeks back while walking the dog. I feel this is old people with nothing else todo...

Arbitrary foresty walk centred around a hill with not much of a view for all the trees. Pleasant enough but there are better walks in the area. No facilities / toilets at all except a small parking lot.

Nice views at the top. Followed the Octavia Hill trail through the woods but wasn't very exciting but was very muddy. There's a sandy path right to the top which is better than the trail.

Nearly all woodland if you keep to the Octavia trail. The view point is probably best appreciated winter and spring before the vegetation limits the view.Entrance to the car park (Salt Lane) in very bumpy.
