Just love Bangor Pier...a fabulous part of our history and on a glorious but chilly Spring day you can't beat a leisurely walk to the end, followed by a cuppa and a freshly baked scone from the cafe. Simply wonderful

Lovely walk along this lovely old promenade. It was a very windy day but the views were stunning and worth the £1.50 parking charge. None of the little shops were open apart from the cafe at the end where we gad a warming cup of tea before wandering back to the car.

Lovely period pier with great views. The 50 pence admittance charge helps to maintain its up keep which is locked after by a local community group. Interesting small shops and a nice cafe at the end of the pier.

We visited the pier in 2019 when it was still being renovated so could not get to the end of it. It is finished now, looks fantastic. The views are gorgeous and it is clear that everyone involved in the project is proud of it. They should be! You are simply asked for a small donation. Well worth a visit.

Nice, especially from the top. Very lovely and soothing to look at and very close to the castle. I haven't stayed long but there was a stall or two to sell food and the boats were very close to the shore.

Absolutely beautiful well maintained pier. As piers should be, for promenading, taking in the stunning views and some light refreshments at the end. Go early morning for sunrise or on a summers evening. Lovely and well worth the 50p donation!

Visited Garth Pier in North Wales and it was lovely and peaceful on this weekday visit. 50p entry fee which is cheap! Pier pavilion tearooms located at the end of the pier with plenty of seating areas to sit with a coffee and look at the sea. Lucky as the sun was out. Definitely worth a visit. May be busy on weekends.

With an entry fee of only 50p (and an honesty box if the booth is not manned), the pier stretches about halfway across the Menai Straight giving good views of the surrounding area. There's a nice tea shop at the end serving hot snacks, drinks and a good selection of cakes. A really nice way to spend some time, even when the weather is a bit questionable!
