Well worth a visit if you can make it on a Thursday, as that's the only day it opens between April and September. Definitely has the wow factor. Car parking nearby or park at Capel Colman church and enjoy a short walk across a lovely meadow.

Wow! A definite must see. Only open on a Thursday and can be misleading to find. You have to drive up main drive through the lodges but only a part hidden tiny sign to say so.

Very pretty and beautifully restored shell house. Only open on Thursdays. A sign out the front would be useful!

On a clear day the walk to the shell house is a lovely way to absorb the freshness of the Welsh countryside, the views just before you enter the small wood towards the shell house are worth a photograph. The shell house is small but impressive as the use of shell colours and shapes are impressive. Truly fascinating. A natural wonder made by human endeavour.

Well worth a visit if in the area. The Cilwendeg Shell House is open for public viewing on Thursdays from the first week in April through the last week in September (9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.). Admission is free but donations are welcomed.

The Shell House is just past Boncath, between two gate houses and a long drive that says private. Drive through the gate down the single track lane. At the bottom of the lane, where the trees start, there is a small carpark on your right. There are no signs near the entrance, so as you walk following the road round, watch out for a small black metal gate with pyramid topped gate posts (pictured). Follow the path through the gate and the Shell House will be in front of you.

Lovely place kids love it, very much like something off Harry Potter. Nice short walk from the small car park which is a little tight in the entrance if you have long wheel base van only parks about 5 cars. Beautiful place
