Tan-yr-Ogof Caves

The Tan yr Ogof Caves are a popular site for rock climbing
As always there was people climbing the rock faces
It’s also a popular spot for a nice stroll through the forest with very well groomed out pathways

At least 3 caves in close proximity to each other, fun to explore. Damp clay under foot so be prepared for that - mind your step and wear old clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Great place to explore. It's a little steep in places, but relatively easy to get to. Definitely recommend.

We found it tricky to find, but there is a break in the wall running up the hill; once there it’s a case of turning left, following the zig zag back on yourself and you’ll spot the caves from there. Not the biggest or the best caves, but safe to explore with children and lovely views from the top of the hill.

Nice caves and easy to find just of the road

A must.
