Had a brilliant time. Surf leaders are great and give lots of advice. Definitely recommend visiting as it's an excellent introduction for beginners and the site provides areas for different levels of competence.

This place was in all incredible. Me and my children were astonished. The amount of activities were brilliant. This Includes ( Mountain biking - Surfing - And more ) Around 20 Activities! We watched from the viewing area all of the surfers and the awesome piece of machinery sat in the middle that created the waves. It was so awesome and looked amazing. Although one problem would be the prices. Lots of people complain about the prices or how you can't pay £50 to go in for an hour and just send it without having to go through lessons. Personally I understand the safety requirements and lessons for the safety but yes also 50/50 agreed. The facility and foods are amazing. We bought (drinks, sausage rolls and chips) it was very nice and the food was very enjoyable ( 9/10 ) staff were lovely and the hotel nearby was stunning. A jacuzzi was sat on the edge whilst watching the surfers in the water. Honestly it was amazing and its free to just watch! ( 10/10 ) recommend. Wouldn't drive more than 3h to get here.

Took the kids there this week so they could have a trial at the surfing. They had instruction before hand and then an hour in the lagoon to practice.
The staff were all brilliant especially Freya who was the instructor. She was excellent with my youngest child who became nervous about the surfing. Freya relaxed her into the water and by the end had got her onto the surf board and enjoying the experience.
By the end of the hour they had all had a great time.
Overall the site is very good with a variety of different activities for people to have a go at. There is also a bar, coffee shop and surf shop selling equipment.
Where it loses a star is the cost of the surfing. If you wanted to just pay for an hour then it is £50 (if informed correctly) which is a little on the steep side for some peoples budgets. I understand that they have overheads but probably wouldn't take them again unless there was an offer on.

Wow. What an experience!

As an old school surfer I couldn’t wait to experience the wave - it really is perfect. I went in at intermediate level 2 but really I should’ve booked an advanced session.

Get there early and watch, I learned so much by watching the session before me but you really don’t fully know until your on the water - it’s a buzz.

A few tips which an awesome local taught me in the water are:
1. Wait for the wave to pass before heading to the centre. You can hang around the middle of the lake in the dead zone.
2. Hold onto the fencing when in your zone position.
3. When the pulleys start to rotate (they run down the underneath) let go and start paddling cause the wave is about to come.

One last tip - it’s not saltwater so give yourself a couple of extra paddles.

It’s a really cool, relaxed vibe and the team are very helpful, friendly and confident. I’m defo returning every year and making it a regular summer adventure.

Totally rad dude 🤙🏼

Excellent day out. High ropes were a proper adrenaline rush. Also did indoor and outdoor climbing walls and ninja course. Great value at £50 for for activities. Instructors were excellent especially Owen, Michael and Jack. Very tiring but well worth it.

Everyone here was really friendly. The activities were fun and well-run.

My only criticism is that the surf machine wasn’t running, and whilst the replacement activities were fun (paddle boarding and inflatable ninja course) the water seemed dirty. Having said this I am told the “dirt” is actually peat from the reservoir.

We found the experience here excellent. From the moment we arrived and checked in, we found the team to be very helpful and accommodating. The receptionist was helpful explaining aspects of the accommodation and bar but I got the feeling from first arrival that the team were friendly and accommodating. Little examples are things like the way the staff went out their way to make sure we got food (we were a late arrival) even though they were closing the kitchen. The Hilton across the way was a great facility for food and drink and Brad on reception there was really helpful. Bar staff were knowledgeable about the local area which was useful for local info on Snowdon. The camping pods are clean and warm and the shared shower block located close and very clean. We were here to climb snowdon and do the zip world zip wire and found the location ideal. We saw George the GM about both in the Hilton and in the main area who was very helpful to us during the stay. I'd definitely recommend staying here and hope to return so we can use more of the facilities.

We visited from Florida. We staid in the surf side pods.Weather was beautiful . We had 4 advanced surf sessions . A little more instruction of the rules of the lagoon would’ve been helpful . Bathrooms in the main building were great with blowdryers .The woodland bathrooms were a little more primitive . Water filling stations are available at both areas . Most enjoyable stay . Great surfing .Guaranteed a good wave every time.
