I rang the store beforehand asking if they’d check my car seat was fitted to the safest ability, the lady who answered the phone was friendly and happy to help.
We turned up at the store, being seen straight away by Robert. He didn’t hesitate to help guide us and advise any adjustments. Robert was helpful and very friendly. Great customer service. Will definitely go back. He didn’t ask for a receipt of purchase either even though we brought it, he was just happy to help.

We went in store today for a new car seat and was greeted by a lady called Amie . Amie was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the car seats and shown us how to best fit a couple of them into my husbands van. We wanted to thank her for all her assistance today.

Judgmental, rude, unprofessional just a few words to describe 2 staff in particular! Safe to say I won't be going to this place nor will anyone that I share my experience with.

I love a toy store and this is the best one for miles around. I was sad when ToysRus closed years ago but Smyths more than makes up for it!

Helpful friendly staff, good parking. Extensive range of toys for all ages. Well set out store. Competitive prices. Great website. Easy online ordering for delivery or collection. Catalogue still available.

Click and collect a costly wild goose chase. Ordered an item from Blackburn Smyth's Toys online. This is where it said the item was in stock, but it wasn't my nearest store (15 miles away). Got order confirmed email and set off. Did some other shopping and then joined the long click & collect queue to finally find out they'd cancelled the order because it wasn't actually in stock. The staff acted like this was absolutely normal and should be no problem for me. Would not even give me a £5 gift card for petrol. A taxi for that journey would be £40 yet they got me to do it for free. Never shopping there again.
