Smyths Toys Superstores

First of, Michael, the nursery expert, was absolutely awesome and so helpful. We went in today to find two car seats and a next to me crib, he knew so much information and it was clear he was happy to help. He was friendly and understanding of our wants / needs, also went out of his way to show us a video of one of the next to me cribs that we were most interested in and that was so helpful making our decision, looking forward to coming back next week to make the purchases. However, the security guard was completely out of line and followed us around downstairs, making it blatantly obvious too and the only thing I can think of to make him believe he needed to do that, was that my partner worse trackies because there was nothing else that could've possibly given him any reason to believe we needed to be watch - don't appreciate the stereotyping at all. I do not expect to be treated like that by security when I'm about to make a £300+ purchase in that shop.

Rude management would not sell a generic toy in more than 3, as this is the policy then told me they would ban me from the shop if I attempt to buy again! Well good thing a competitor down the road was more than accommodating with my needs.

Today for the first time I have visited Smyths Toys Superstores in Portsmouth, good selections of Toys for Both boys and girls, other products for newly born babys including beds. Also a large selection of Bicycles for Both girls and scooters, helmets .

What’s the managements have to review is the price of Toys and other products that mostly extremely expensive.

Amy is super helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. Real asset to the team. Answered all of our questions and helped us choose our little one's new carseat. Thank you very much 😊

Lots on offer from toys, video games, consoles, bikes, even baby products.
Plenty of space but can get very busy so the space becomes a challenge to move around and view what's on offer.

Amazing toy store in Portsmouth! No hassle with anything, quick yet knowledgeable customer service and competitive prices against shops, stores and the internet. Worth the visit!

We made two visits to this store, on first occasion to check out the strollers for grandson, we were served by eloise who demonstrated a number of strollers, excellent customer service from her. Went back again to buy stroller and again could not fault service we received from eloise and Angela thank you lady's. Also the Check out assistant was very polite on leaving the store what a great shopping experience big thanks from tom&sharon.
