Things chucked on the floor... "Children should not leave products on the floor" they are hypocrites! I even saw some cars product on the floor, hasn't been picked up by anyone. By the way they could unplug or mess around with the PowerCube (thats what its called, a red PowerCube.). I am surprised that television is on the window but hasn't been turned on. Why brought a PowerCube when you have 1 plug and you can plug it to the socket? Happy Child Safe Shopping my friends...

Pretty much everything is stocked here to cater for all age ranges. Prices are comparable to those online.

The shelves are neat and tidy and always seem fully stocked. It's worth checking out the bargains on the tables towards the front of the store.

The aisles are little narrow but otherwise the layout is clear and fairly easy to navigate. When I needed help the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, showing me the areas for the products I wanted.

Parking is only a problem at Christmas. There are even a couple of EV charging points (Instavolt).

What terrible customer service from Manager Paul! Refused to swap a faulty car seat even though he acknowledged the fault. He didn’t even have the courtesy to speak to us properly. He continued to sit on the floor fiddling with something and was very dismissive in his manner. He told us he couldn’t take a car seat out of a new box as it was part of a travel system. Then when I challenged this he told me they were out of stock! He lied to me as they are clearly in stock when checking the website. He told me to go to another store to make the exchange. Michelle and Marcie were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful but unfortunately it was clear that Paul had the final decision. Child put at risk. Completely unacceptable.

As a concerned parent I went into the store after Paul had installed a car seat. The car seat seemed to have a lot of movement so I went in with my concerns to check with the staff if the seat was safe. All I wanted was for the seat to be checked.
The manager KIERON was absolutely unprofessional. He was RUDE, disrespectful, had no qualities of a manager, and was not even willing to check the seat to give me reassurance.

Marcie then came to my assistance. She checked the seat and gave my assurance it was safe. She was brilliant and should be a manager.

It's usually got the toy you want. Never had to queue or wait long. Never really needed help finding anything there. Often there are toys heavily discounted.

Do not buy funko sodas from the Gloucester store, either staff or customers have opened the cans already to find the chase.

I recently visited Smyths Toys and was blown away by the selection of toys they had to offer. The store was incredibly well-organized and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, and even discovered some new toys that I hadn't seen before. The checkout process was quick and easy, and I left the store feeling like a kid in a candy shop. I highly recommend Smyths Toys for anyone looking for a wide selection of high-quality toys. 5 stars!

Customer Service ia shocking. Till service absolutely no existent.
Would be better off with Self service till. At least the Computer voice is polte and actually talks.
